I have to agree with the other 5 star ratings. Emily, the new phlebotomist, is amazing. She's very professional, welcoming, competent and efficient. It was a great experience. It is a bit frustrating that there is no more walk in option and that you have to wear a mask. However, it was so easy to make my appointment online and they provide masks once you're there.
Our 4 year old son needed a blood draw today. He was understandably scared, crying, etc. The phlebotomist we saw was incredible. Calm, comforting and quick. Got his tiny vein on the first try and we were in and out in just a few minutes.
1 Closed on Monday despite the hours saying it’s open. One wasted trip. 2 Lost internet service and couldn’t restore it while I was there. Second wasted trip. 3 This location is by appointment only even though nothing here says that. Third wasted trip. If you value your time, then at least you now have the information you need learned at the cost of my time.
The new phlebotomist is an absolute GEM! She was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. This was my first time not even feeling a blood draw too - Nordx, don't let this one go, she's amazing! I specifically chose this location because it was by appointment only I really don't have time to sit around and wait at a walk in clinic and for it's convenience to work. This is now my new go-to location for lab work - it was quiet, clean and easy to find!
Freeport medical in same building ordered labs. I said but it states no labs without appointments. The Dr said no they will take you right away. Waited 20 minutes for the tech to come out abd ask me if I had an appointment. I explained the Dr had just ordered labs from freeport medical sane building. She explained I needed an appointment in a very rude manner. Than took a lady that just walked through the door. I walked out. This service was placed here to assist Dr Knighton in his practice. Not to just provide outside services. I travel 40 minutes to see this doctor. I am not going to make an appointment than travel back for lab tests. This lab has always been great until a little over a year ago. Things changed. I would not recommend this lab at all. Unfortunately the alternatives are to far and inconvenient. Thus the tests will not be completed unless I change doctors and that may have to happen.
So I went to this Nordics lab thinking I could just walk in but you can't It's appointment only and I was disappointed that there's no information mentioning that on the website, Right under its name and address would be a good place, because I checked before I went. The woman there was perfectly lovely and offered to try and fit me in another gentleman in but she didn't know when and we are both doing fasting bloods
It takes them forever. If they have wait for the orders to be faxed over they should take the next person. I was extremely late for work but had to get my blood taken for treatment reasons. Almost lost my job because it should of been a quick in and out even with 4 people ahead of me. Over a hour later and still haven't been taken.
Excellent service. I made an appointment by phone for blood tests, arrived a bit early, waited in the car until the phlebotomist called for me to come in, got the blood drawn painlessly and was finished within 15 minutes.
I was lucky to walk in versus scheduling an appointment since I live 25 miles away. Young lady was efficient but could have been a bit more welcoming.
Couldn't call ahead and make an appointment. Tried multiple times. Have a small unventillated waiting room. Takes a long time to get blood work drawn. I suggest letting people make appointments.
