It's my third time seeing Dr. Aly Hashim and was extremely impressed with the level of care and professionalism I received. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Hashim took the time to thoroughly listen to my concerns and address all of my questions. He provided clear explanations and made sure I understood my treatment plan. I appreciated the personalized approach Dr. Hashim took, and I felt confident in the care I received. I would highly recommend Dr. Hashim to anyone in need of medical attention. He is an exceptional doctor who truly cares about his patients.
Danica is awesome! I was nervous seeing someone else since Lillian has left the practice and she was my PCP, but Danica answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable I would continue to have excellent care. Now, the front office staff is not always the most welcome and I think that some of them could benefit from a course in patient care/satisfaction, but all the clinical staff so have met have been amazing including the nurses that triage and the phlebotomist.
Not the best service. Providers are competent AND i experienced long waits, poor communication about billing, and a lack of response when I needed to speak to someone about these billing issues. The last time I was in the office they forgot me in an exam room for over an hour. One of their providers also did not talk me through the pros and cons of a specific blood test and I received a very hefty bill. Later a family member who works in health care told me they would have never recommended that particular test because the preventive blood tests were more than sufficient. Right now I’m desperately trying to pay a bill from LAST YEAR June 2021 that they keep mailing me about but don’t respond when I call. It’s not a good feeling. I feel scammed.
While the PA I've seen here annually for years is lovely, the billing department is a nightmare. My insurance has always covered preventative services and they billed under an MD that my insurance does not cover, resulting in 0% of my bill being paid. This is completely unjust for patients who pay for insurance and if there is any update to a change in coverage I should have been notified when I checked in and presented my insurance card. I initially was told to disregard the bill 6 months ago but have now started receiving billing statements and collections notices. I have not been able to reach anyone in the billing department for at least a week and have not had any call returned after leaving at least 4 voicemails. Side note- the patient portal is not user friendly and very difficult to navigate. My husband and I will be seeking new PCPs after this frustrating experience. Addendum: The practice manager and physician were able to be contacted via the portal and have re-submitted the claim to my insurance. Rating updated to reflect.
Every issue I wanted to discuss she said I have to see a specialist. I need to get a pap. She stated they do them in this office but when I checked out she referred me to a specialist. I told her I don't want to do testing not covered by my insurance. I was told by the MA if I don't sign for consent to do what the doctor ordered we cannot continue with the appointment. I feel like the only reason I was there was for the doctor to check off the maximum charges available. Disappointed. I will probably get a large bill that I cannot afford to pay
When I initially came to this place, I liked the Doctor I had Dr. Hernandez but she left and I was then seen by a PA. I was okay with being seen by a PA but I didn’t like when I came in for a sick visit, I waited for 1 hour to be seen. When I finally was seen, NOTHING was done for me that day and yet, I still had to pay a copay for the visit. I had already started antibiotics and a steroid pack thanks to a virtual doctor I spoke with through my insurance plan. The whole point of me seeing her was that I was having chest pain from all the coughing which made it harder for me to function at my job where I have to talk 95% of the day. She said to me “the doctor I’m supervised by will not prescribe you anything for your cough” which I think is absurd. And she claimed she would go and ask the doctor after the appointment if I could get something for my cough and I never heard anything back from her. Instead, I had to suffer 3 weeks after the appointment until the cough and chest pain went away on its own. I decided to cancel all of my appointments there because why would I want to follow up at a place who is just there trying to collect a copay and not actually help you?? I would rather go elsewhere and wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here.
Dr. Syrop is a great physician. She listens wells and asks the right questions...and sometimes that's hard to find with a primary care physicians. In all the times I've met with her, she made me feel seen and heard.
Amazing facility. Everyone is nice, friendly and knowledgeable. If North Atlanta Primary Care is for come here. Dr. Hashim is my current physician. Stop by if you can.I appreciate the follow-up and willingness to answer questions. A big thank you to all.”
Doctors are nurses are competent. Office management is the WORST I've ever experienced!! Repeat patients are required to provide several tedious pages of personal information al, medical history, etc., for every visit, even though they already have all the information. Totally unnecessary! No other docotors' offices I visit require every visit to be as if you're a new patient!!
Horrible. They used to be better, but now that they are expanding, I've had multiple insurance issues. They billed me for blood tests that they COULD NOT DRAW MY BLOOD for after 3 sticks. I've called multiple times and they say they will revise it, but every month it's another bill for about $150 OOP for blood tests that never happened. Also, they just billed my physical blood tests incorrectly. My husband's physical blood tests were billed as "preventative care" and the co-pay was $0, as it should be. MY blood tests were billed as "O/P Labs" and now I "owe" $95. If you enjoy being the middle man and fighting between insurance and NAPC, then this is the place for you! Really disappointed, because I've been going to NAPC since I was a teenager. But it's changed.
