North End Studios

Story

North End Studios has a year-round schedule of events, presenting a wide range of concerts, theater productions, dance events, film showings, lectures, and much more. The Studios provide affordable rental space for artists, community organizations and individuals for performances, meetings, workshops, classes and social gatherings. It is an incubator space for teachers and other individuals where they can take a chance on presenting untested activities with limited financial risk. Non-profit organizations can use this space at reduced rates or, in some cases, for free. In addition, North End Studio A offers gallery space for rotating exhibits by local visual artists, and houses both literary and music libraries for public use.

The Vermont Performing Arts League is also the presenter of the Vermont International Festival which is held at the Champlain Valley Expo during the first weekend in December. The Vermont International Festival was named one of the Top Ten Winter Events in Vermont for 2011-2012 by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. In December 2012, VPAL will proudly present the 20th annual Vermont International Festival a celebration of cultures from around the world, bringing their crafts, food, and music to our doorstep.
