Had a great time on Wednesday night! Was scared being it was me and my ladies first time but everyone including the other players were great help and the concessions had great food. Thanks!
friendly, clean, organized better than other halls, roomy, helpful staff, nice kitchen and staff. wish the had late night sessions like they use too, also think it would be great if they had 1 night of paper bingo without computers. everyone i know prefers this hall.
Make sure they hear you call bingo or they won't pay you the very first time I went there they said that I had my bingo was called on the number before everybody else said it wasn't but they still would not pay me and then my computer could work in the last three games they told me they weren't responsible for the computers
Nice place to play Bingo. Crowd and workers are polite and helpful. Daytime and night Bingos are available so can fit in most people's busy calendars. Food and drinks Are available from their kitchen.
We love it here! Friendly staff and just the right pace.
Was our first time here. You are crammed in like sardines right off the bat. No respect for the 6 foot space. The games are not loaded into the computers. You are still handed 30 more cards which you need to follow along with,so I don't see the point of the computers. the staff are volunteers and are unknowledgable at best when it comes to explaining the games. The sheets on how to play the games when it came to bonus games and what color card we should be playing on were wrong, so we couldn't follow along with those. There's like 6 different non bingo related side games going on top of while the actual bingo game is getting played, so you don't know what numbers are getting called for which game or if you're still supposed to be playing bingo. For a new person, this was quite difficult to follow along. the crowd of people were horrible. Loud, rude yelling at the volunteers, being disprectful, cutting the lines, acting like animals. the head of this operation had to come up several times and remind the crowd to act civil and be courteous.the facility is run down, the tables were dirty. I was afraid to use the resteoom since the tables couldn't have been bothered to be clearned, why would anyone pay attenton to a bathroom. Not a place I would come back to.
Been a long time since I've played...staff is great, full menu a plus, very organized during the event. Will definitely go back!
Always a fun time. Staff are helpful. Hall is clean and cozy. Food, drinks, and supplies available.
I thought it was a little too busy. Calling on too many different types of games at the same time. But Hall was clean and nice little snack bar.
Aug 31, 2021 tues I hadn’t played “BINGO” in over 30 yrs. I was excited about playing again. . I search the net & found North Gratiot Hall, close to home.. I arrived at 6:45.pm. Game had started. No one was at the sales desk. Lady arrived but had to find the cashier to locate cash til. . I explained that it was 1st time here. They handed me a video bingo machine. “I was shocked” . I then asked what about the books? Neither ladies mentioned, u could get up to 5 books with the 35.00 electronic package. I asked how many? She mgr said answered 2 should be enough. Thinking I purchased 2 extra books aside from the electronic deal. I said ok. While the actual cashier sold me other single paper games. I’m rushing to get to a table. I smiled & said thank u.. As I settled down next to 2 pleasant ladies & began to play. I’m falling to sleep. It’s slow.. I looked around the average person has 5 or more books?. Even a women that’s looked atleast 80 plus had 5 books. My table neighbor asked, why did I only get 2 books? I said, Ikr I should’ve brought more. She said well u were entitled to 3 more books with your packet. . I called over the cashier who helped me & asked why wasn’t I told I was untitled up to 5 books with what I paid? She went & spoke with someone, came back and said “sorry, it’s pass 7pm & to late to get the other books now?!!! I quietly waited til INTERMISSION went up to speak with the mgr person in charge. “OMG” I felt like I was talking to a 12 yr old!!! She was attempting to be argumentative. Trying to dismiss the facts. Changing what was actually said; while the cashier co-signed what she was saying. I explained I basically wanted acknowledgment. However, they jumped to a defensive mode. All a DIS-SERVICE against me. I felt cheated. I was ready to leave! RUINED MY 1St time back to Bingo! I suggest customer service training it’s necessary when you’re dealing with people hard earned money!!! Never try to justify a business/bingo error, against a consumer. I spent 44.00 at the entrance, 9.00 at the table for tickets. 6.75 at the concession area. 64.75 total! Miserable nite! Then to top it off, the COPS WHERE CALLED, because a 150 lb black woman & a 400 lb white male had words! silly words! They approached only the black female? Not sure what she said. Niether of them ever stopped playing Bingo!
