North High School

I graduated from North in 2012. The high school had everything you would ever need. A wide variety of AP and CIS classes were available for college credit and the teachers were always willing to help during office hours. The athletic program offered every sport with good coaches. Student population is large with your standard groups/cliques. If you are looking for a well-rounded education, everything you need is provided.

I've been in education for 23 years. I had my four children open-enrolled in the district where I taught. We switched one of our sons out of the Roseville Area High School and into North High School when he was a junior so he could play varsity sports in the district in which we reside. We were so pleased with and impressed by North High School that we transferred another son to North when he became a freshman. Both boys have been academically challenged in AP classes and both have earned college credits. In addition, the kids they hang out with are great - a couple friends are currently college roommates - I hope they remain life-long friends. We've found the office staff to be friendly and accommodating, the teachers to be engaged and willing to communicate with us and the curriculum to be relevant, challenging and fun. We have been very pleased with the education our son's have received at North High School.

Administration is biased and does not care for the students except for Ms. Lien. She is the ONLY one in the administration who truly cares about the students. All the other staff excluding a select few of teachers are misers and are only in it for a paycheck and do not care what happens to the students. The administration is haphazard and makes harebrained decisions without basic comprehension of situations pertaining to their foolhardy decisions. With their inferior knowledge, they can easily make mistakes and ruin students lives due to their lack of intelligence to make calm and reasonable assessments. If you don't want your child to attend a school run by degraded plebeians, I personally urge you to move your child out of this institution.

With each of our three gifts from above now having all Graduated from North High School, our families give Unending BRAVO's To: the guiding, experienced Principals have met every one, the helpful, thoughtful, knowledgeable Administration, the many dedicated Instructors of their vast curriculum, the magnificently strong Polar Choir, Arts, Drama, and Sports Leaders are exemplary also, the attentive Kitchen organized busybees, the compassionate Nurses, and the Custodial crew too who give their most to make these vigorously amazing and loveable Daughters and Sons of ours, the Dist. 622 North High Polars: THE BEST High School EVER!!

Nice job keeping the restrooms clean during the sectional wrestling tournament. I watched a little kid slip and fall into the standing water, from the overflowing toilet. Disgusting.

Wow, the people who complain the most apparently are not even capable of constructing a grammatically correct sentence structure. It is no wonder you find reasons to whine; maybe you should quit whining and learn something.

Super nice, clean up to date equipment great athletics for kids friendly staff nephew plays basketball here.

North is a good school with some amazing teachers.
