Northern VA Certified Food Manager Cards

I was here for my food manager card. I can't speak to any of the other testing services. For only $180 you can buy the rare privilege of sitting in a windowless room for six hours straight and get lectured at about food safety while your eyes glaze over. It's like paying to be in high school again! Sound great, right? When the class was finally over, we were told that there was a computer malfunction and we wouldn't be able to take the test on the same day. They printed each of us a voucher for the test and we went on our way. No refund or discount, just "sorry for the inconvenience". Oh and it's an additional $45 for your card. If you're lucky, your employer might pay for it. ORS interactive is a beige operation with no reason to change. The kind of place you should never go unless you have to.
