Northwest Branch at Scotts Crossing
"This library is a welcoming destination that responds to the unique characteristics of a large wooded site, drawing form and material inspiration from the adjacent area where industrial context meets smaller established neighborhoods. The entry plaza engages the intersection of Hollywood Road and Perry Boulevard with a dramatic transparent entry, sculpture and a landscaped courtyard area that provides outdoor seating and filters the view from the library interior to the street. The large volume of the stack area houses the public spaces and prioritizes natural light with skylights and views to the surrounding natural area. The interior is open and inviting with a mix of vibrant color and warm wood surfaces."

Amazing place to bring your kids/babies. ASK ABOUT Learning spaces!!! The staff here is soooooo friendly and helpful. They have SO MANY activists & programs for the kids. & it’s honestly the nicest library I’ve been to.
We enjoy going there a few times a year. And this time again for early voting with an exceptional friendly team of supporters a big thank you to the entire team at Scotts crossing.
The absolute best librarians! Plenty of study rooms, they even have some events. I love it.
The curbside pickup process for holds is so easy! The staff is pleasant and friendly. Yesterday they even took the time to verify my info to renew my library card. Always a great experience.
Fantastic facility! S/O to Audrey for being kind & informative too
This place is a gem hidden away with the friendliest librarians. We've been going here for 6 years and don't feel like we need to visit anywhere else!
Just visited to early vote and it was cool. One of the poll workers had much attitude but she ended up leaving. The process was super quick and everyone else there was very nice. The lady that left? She was still in the parking lot, loud-talking and cussing on her phone. She was obviously having a bad day and didn't mind making other people miserable as well. Hope she's having a better day today.
I had such a wonderful experience at this library. The lady that assisted me was so friendly and helpful. Her name Emma Laster. I wanted to recognize her because rarely have I been treated with such sincere kindness. This library and its visitors are truly blessed to work with Emma. Please stop by to thank Emma for her exceptional service. She deserves to be recognized for really caring so much about others. What a blessing.
Best library in the city! The staff can be a little country/hood, but the service and programming they provide is impeccable! So grateful they've brought the following to an underprivileged community - Chess club, robotics, puppet shows, United Way's "Learning Spaces" pre-school class, free summer lunches, back-to-school giveaways, and regularly scheduled Wednesday 11am story time. We just love it!
Library is great. some employees are great like security guard and guy who does the janitorial work but others are often rude. Bathrooms need to be checked every 15 minutes and need a sign in each stall telling ppl how they can flush toilet if it doesn't happen automatically. I'm telling you the bathrooms get so gross! I feel bad for the guy who cleans them
