Indy Parks has failed to maintain this recreational area. The playground equipment is old and dangerous. New Mulch hasn't been put down in years. The bathrooms are gross. Water from the water fountain is warm. The pool has been closed for almost 5 years. After a rain, many spaces along the trail and playground are unusable. Trash piled up due to lack of recepticals. Lots of changes need to occur to make this park adequate for our community.
We visited the park for the playground; there's also a walking trail. There were plenty of benches for parents, shady morning to early afternoon. The accessible part faces the parking lot and isn't visible from most of the benches: worrisome.
It is a calming place, has a short trail and if you are lucky can see deer crossing there too! It’s peaceful and there are play grounds for children too.
Nice clean park ...cool place for family and friends picnics and partying ...I love the awesome ambitious space...but it needs more side attractions for everybody and also by the way it was my first picnic with 10 months old babies...my kids had a fun time swinging...
Enough to keep the kids busy for hours with shaded places for me to sit and monitor Playground: Kept him very busy!!!
Good walking trails, pretty well maintained. Not a lot going on but that's fine for what it offers. Picnic areas could use some touch up.
Fairly clean and the soccer fields are surprisingly smooth and consistent! Didn't check the bathrooms, though...
This park use to be beautiful. Needs a lot of work. On our last visit..and I mean my "last" visit..there were inappropriate "adult" items on the grounds and right by my kiddos feet. Makes for a great conversation to have with your seven year old...
I really enjoy the trail for daily exercise and the park for my lil grands. The women's bathroom is DISGUSTING!!!
Excellent park, soccer, basketball, swimming, jogging and walking . The scenery is awesome, you definitely will see rabbit or two. Trail would definitely be dark at night, there are benches along the way ... Remember follow the trail you can make it out! I love & enjoy nature walks. I suggest everyone, everyone visit
