I kept checking online for the wait time before I left because there were no spots left to 'reserve'. I was feeling awful. They gave me an estimated time for seeing the Dr. 50 minutes. Not bad for an Immediate care. Guess what? I was leaving by that time. YES! They had me in triage and seeing the Dr with test results and walking out the door with much needed meds from Flu A, by the time they said I would just see the Dr.! The Dr took his time to go over the results, the meds he was giving me and a note for work. I highly recommend this location. They worked like a well oil machine!! Thank you to the staff and Dr for being awesome!
Although this facility stays very busy, their staff is always friendly. They allow us to wait at home when it is going to be hours before we can be seen or wait in the car for our own comfort. The providers are knowledgeable and caring.
Erin, Nicole, and the other nurse African American with locs were all so kind, caring, and responsive to my needs. This was my second visit in 2 days and they all cared that I was still very much still sick and in pain. I appreciate their kindness and willingness to get me some relief.
I've had to come here several times and every time it's a long wait. However I am writing this in the waiting room currently of which I have been waiting in for nearly 2 hours. It seems as though there's no sense of urgency for an "immediate" care center. Update: it's now been over 2 hours and I have watched more patients than I could count that checked in after me get taken back before me. Update part 2: So this was a follow up from a few days ago because I haven't gotten better from when they saw me last. Not only did I wait 2 and a half hours and watch plenty of other patients come and go, not only did I wait long enough in a doctors room that I had time to sit and watch youtube. All that only for them to look at my throat, run no new tests, and then essentially have them tell me they misdiagnosed me the first time. Mind you now I don't trust anything they tell me because everything they told me the first time was wrong. I was also made to feel like a burden for being there a second time in a week when I was told to come back if I didn't get better. I will NEVER recommend this office to anyone. This was one of the worst experiences at an office I've ever had and I've had some bad ones. And I know I'm going to get some generic response from them like "please let us know your concerns we take them seriously". I've seen it on other reviews. I've laid out all my concerns here so I don't want a call from the office to "talk". If they took concerns seriously I wouldn't see so many of the same reviews about them from multitudes of people.
Urgent care is miserable but this one did the best they could to help! From the reception to the doc, everyone was professional, informative and kind. I waited 90 min but that’s what they told me it would be up front which really helps. I’m traveling and using out of state insurance and they verified in advance I was covered.
Excellent experience! I had scheduled a slot online and was in and out in an hour. Erin was so welcoming and sweet as she took my vitals and performed the swab test. David Wathen, APRN, was equally friendly and answered all my questions. I would definitely go there again.
Went in for a what appeared to be a spider bite.Thankfully it doesn’t seem to be anything major. They think some antibiotics will fix things. The wait was a lil longe for having about 4 individuals myself included. Nothing to extreme though, both girls ar the desk were extremely friendly and professional. And the guy who did my stats also friendly. And the female Nurse Practitioner was thorough/super sweet/and did her job well. I’ve always been pleased by the Fern Creek location
I have taken my daughter here twice. Each time a different practitioner. Each one pleasant and thorough. I like that they have a test that is for both flu a and b and covid.
The ladies are quick and sufficient there. Sad to say they know my great nephew by name,l.o.l. The team always is nice and Friendly. Its hard to get used to the website since I am not .com Savvy. I got on their website while my nephew was taking a bath and I got lucky and it said 1 hour, would be my appointment. Last time it took 5 hours but, people have to consider everyone is short handed and Ferncreek has a lot of sick people in the Winter. Thanks have a blessed day and MERRY CHRISTMAS DORIS
Anytime myself or my family has visited we've always been so happy with everything at this location. The entire staff is extremely friendly and made a visit with my 2 and 3 year olds as pleasant as possible! Cannot recommend this location enough, but make a reservation!
