Cute little place. Had the sweet & spicy bacon burger. So good! The honey was perfect on this! Their fries are also great! We got just the salt & pepper fries but there are a couple other options as well. Great, fast service as well!
NOSH is always our stop when in Portland! Wonderful atmosphere, great beer and cocktail selection and an amazing menu. You'll have to leave the calorie counting at the door but worth it! Features: N/A Portland is open for business.
Nice chill spot with good service.. Surprisingly ALL burgers have pork which is unfortunate since I don't eat pork.. I got the R-Bees sandwich which was good but I wouldn't say Amazing... fries had vinegar what I ordered and very good. Overall a bit pricey but a good spot. I even got to sit back and watch the end of a basketball game. #warriors
Food was 4/5 recommend the Shrimp Po’ Boy and Congress St Salad - skirt steak was so so, environment was 3.5/5 very dim and kind of loud music level, and service was 4.5/5 came in at 9:58 not knowing kitchen closed at 10 establishment open until 11 and the possibly owner? host was insistent that we sit and eat and not to worry about it and that the kitchen and kitchen staff was there for customers. It was not forced and seemed sincere so even though I felt a little bad we sat and ate and glad we did!
Nosh was pretty good! Their drinks were a little pricey for an average cocktail. Their service was friendly and pretty quick. We got the Mozzarella Sticks and they were absolutely delicious! The most melty and gooey Mozz Sticks ever— clearly house-made from scratch. The actual restaurant is small, so you may experience wait times and they don’t take reservations. I don’t think it would be a good place for large parties. Parking is street parking only. I would recommend Nosh for a casual bite to eat and apps.
Nosh means snacking secretly, so this place is aptly named. Nosh is a gem with a great location. Good drinks, good food, good people. Service was outstanding and the staff are extra helpful. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the music here is top notch, too. We started our night here planning we'd go to other nearby bars but in reality never left, and finished out the night here. There's something unique about this spot, and ymmv, but you owe it to yourself to come in for a drink and some fries. One of my favorite spots throughout Portland.
I would come back for the fries… Don’t get me wrong, the veggie burger was also . Excellent place for lunch as we stopped on our way to Acadia Park. I wouldn’t mind getting Nosh’d again !
A great find!! My friends and I planned to go to another restaurant before a show at State Theater, but ended up at Nosh after the other place quoted a long wait. We’re so happy to find Nosh though! Good beer selection, delicious mixed drinks, fast service, and some fantastic food! My friends only eat ethically sourced meat so instantly were drawn to the burgers when they read the write-up! They’re “smash” style burgers so thinner and cooked throughly which other reviewers don’t seem used to, but is clearly explained in the menu. The Sweet N’ Spicy burger was one of the best burgers all of us have ever had. Nothing comes with a side which is a bit disappointing for the price, but our table split a basket which were fantastic! I think the prices are fair compared to other Portland restaurants and for the ethically sourced ingredients, minus the exclusion of a side. Overall, Nosh is our new go-to spot before walking two blocks for a concert! We’re excited to return!
See the 4.4? That’s the old Nosh. New Nosh is terrible. Never going back. Mediocre food. Lousy service only one person doing the waiting, hostess, bus. Maybe just one in the kitchen. Food was so-so. Poutine could not begin to compare with another Portland restaurant won’t name it here.
We were excited to try this place since they were under new ownership. We liked the old nosh and expected the same quality. The drinks were barely drinkable, tasted like cough syrup. The poutine was cold and soggy. The chicken wings had no flavor and the "ranch" was basically water. The carrots had more flavor than both the fries and wings. We did not eat the food and were only charged for the drinks. 25 bucks for two mediocre drinks.
