Mostly everything here is overpriced. They also could use some new inventory because it never seems to change inside the store. I came here to sell an antique of mine and to see if they were interested. The lady at the counter was kind of rude and said "Beth is not here, but here's her phone number, send her a picture and text her and she will get back to you" I sent her more than 3 different texts, and I never heard back at all. Poor customer service. That's probably why this place has no business. Also, the prices here are completely outrageous! $28 for a sad iron that's missing the handle, only worth $4. $500 for a 1950's dining room table. $48 for a 1960's coffee table, that nobody wants, and you would have a hard time giving it away. The list goes on and on. I never even bought anything here until they had a 75% off sale, which finally brought the prices on some, not all, but some items down to something reasonable. This place almost always had a 20-25% sale going on, because without it, they wouldn't have sold a single item (that's how high the prices were). Many antique stores are expensive like this one, but they can stay afloat without having a constant sale going on. Recently I went were again because they were still having that 75% off sale, and I found a vase I liked, and $4 seemed reasonable. When the cashier rang it up, she applied the sale to the original price on the tag, not what it was on sale for previously, so it came up as $2 more. I walked out of there pissed off. The people who own this place seem to be extremely money hungry, and they will do what ever they possibly can to squeeze more out of the customer. If its not outrageously pricing their items, its scamming someone right at the register. I had even thought of taking a few things I had laying around here to get appraised. But after I had so many bad experiences, and I realized how much this place sucks, I obviously decided not to.
