Nulhegan Abenaki Tribe

I had to write with a correction in response to another's review: The Clan of the Hawk was founded by its current Chief, Chief Spirit Water. As a Council Member of the Clan, I do not know who the person (Knight Jr.?) referred to in the prior review is. With that said, the Nulhegan are a splinter group from the Clan, however they are not "illegitimate". Also, can you point me to a pure-blood Abenaki living in the US? They don't exist so Abenaki Clans can not be judged purely by "bloodlines" as the prior review seems to want.

Fraudulently-Recognized Group that claims to be an Abenaki Tribe. And yet in September 2004 they clearly stated they are from the Clan of the Hawk refugee's which is a private volunteer organization. Clan of the Hawk came out of Howard Franklin Knight Jr. in 1993, which H.L.K. Jr. also 'created' Paul Wilson Pouliot's group down in Franklin, MA (now in Alton, NH), and H.F.K. Jr. was created out of Richard Phillips aka. Black Horse, that came out of Homer St. Francis's group, up in Swanton, VT. in the late 1970's early 1980's. Homer St. Francis came out of Ronald "Ronnie" Cann's nonsense in 1975, after Julius Cann's son moved from MA up to NH and over to St. Albans, VT to create a ManPower Office in 1975 after doing the same in Concord-Manchester, NH in the summer of 1974 with CETA Funds from the Fed Govt through the Boston Indian Council. The fakery starts there and culminates with the Nulhegan group in Vermont, along with the other three groups. Now you know a little bit more than you did ten minutes ago about the fake "Abenaki" "groups" that now claim they are "tribes".
