First time visiting, great spot! So many options, need to go back a few more times! Frankie on the register was great, lots of counter people handling the orders and preparations. Place has plenty of seating, plus a walk-up window out on the side street. Had the pork roll, egg and cheese on an everything, awesome. If you looking for breakfast or lunch, try this spot.
Could be better. We pay almost $11 for a bacon egg and cheese on a roll. I have to ask for extra bacon and it still isn’t up to par for the price. I get that everything is quite expensive lately, but if you’re going to charge me the same as a whole carton of eggs, I should feel satiated after my sandwich. They def have the potential to be great.
Genuinly the best breakfast food I’ve ever had amazing taste and I ordered from Uber eats and there was no option for banana chocolate chip pancakes so I left a note asking for them on the off chance they would and they deliveredddd those pancakes were amazing and they added the chocolate chips and banana for no extra cost and didn’t cheap out either full of chocolate chips and like 4 slices of banana in between each pancake. Absolutely will order again delicious
I have been purchasing bagels from them on a weekly basis for years, and they are consistently great. I cannot speak to their other products. My one tip is to avoid lunchtime on beautiful school days. The nearby high school students can pack the place on these days.
Not impressed. Average coffee, average bagels, average omelettes. Happy with the portions, just very underwhelmed with the food prep. For example, the hash browns were saturated in oil, about two tablespoons of oil in each one. Means they were not using oil up to temperature, not hot enough. My stomach felt queasy after I ate the hash browns. I will say the person on the register was very nice. I will stick to the Diner for breakfast. Not as fast but much, much better.
Boy Oh Boy, Bagel Boy! Nutley bagel boy twisting up some delicious bagels. Soft and fluffy on the inside and toasty on the outside. With all the different schmears available, you will surely find a bagel that will make you, Oh boy happy! Service is good despite their busy weekends. Sometimes a short and sometimes a long wait but the wait has always been worthwhile. The kids love the rainbow bagels and I love the cream cheese and lox, cinnamon raisin with cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese or a simple plain with cream cheese. They also have the NJ pork roll classic or the BEC bagel if you are craving a warmer breakfast. Will surely stop in again when craving a bagel!
The bagels we had were amazingly delicious, soft and fresh and very tasty. We did get two Taylor ham sandwiches however and the meat is overly thin and lacking on the sandwich. We serve them better to put four or five thicker slices on there And maybe even charge an additional quarter or $0.50. They have other fair pricing and other good items such as omelettes and the like, but shamefully I cannot recommend them for breakfast sandwich as it is rather cheap looking and light I look forward to their improvements, however in the meantime it's just the other items for me.
Bagels are good. But need to step up the game with regards to the cream-cheese to bagel ratio. I am not about excessive cream cheese but there was barely any on my bagel smh.
I ordered from here on DoorDash and specified twice NO ketchup due to my partner’s food allergy. His sandwich still came with ketchup, which he didn’t realize and took a bite. Well he ended up having a reaction. When we called to ask what happened the manager I assume completely disregarded the severity of the situation and tried to justify it saying “we’re so busy right now we didn’t read the special instructions on your order.”
Veggie bagel is my go to here. However today was a lunch trip. The medium burger i ordered came well done. I got it deluxe but had no lettuce or tomato with it.
