NYC Bhangra Dance Company & School

NYC Bhangra gave me and my wedding guests the reception to remember. The dancers and dhol player were full of energy. They did an excellent job!! The performance was amazing and everyone really enjoyed it. It set the tone of the night and the dance floor was never empty - not even for a minute during the entire party. All of my guests complimented their performance and their energy! I highly recommend them! Thank you Megha.

We recently attended my cousin's wedding in September 2022 and enjoyed lovely dance performance presented by Megha's students. Students were very energetic and danced in perfect sequence. Good job to Megha and her team.

We had a great time learning Bhangra for our wedding. She really took her time to teach us and feel the music. She was very flexible with timing as well and really observed our dance skill levels.

For the Diwali Festival we have a group dance and Megha is our choreographer and instructor. She is an amazing dancer and a great teacher. She is full of energy and it’s contagious which makes dancing fun. We look forward for our sessions.

Me and my fiancee at the time wanted to do a surprise performance for our guests at our wedding reception in Florida. We were looking for someone to privately help choreograph and teach us a dance routine. Timeline was tight as we only had two week to learn and perfect our routine. We reached out to Megha and she took on this challenge like a pro. In two weeks she taught us virtually from NY a dance routine to which we had given her the songs we wanted. Megha is an expert at what she does. She is able to analyze your skill level and work with you from that point and build you up. She taught us a dance routine which included a mix of slow dance and bhangra. Our surprise performance was a hit at the wedding reception and we were super thrilled with the outcome. Megha came to the rescue for us in a short timeline while teaching us virtually. If you are reading this Megha, you are awesome and thank you for your help in making our special day magical!

Megha is an incredible human being and a fabulous Bhangra teacher. She recently prepared a group of Kindergarteners for a school dance performance in under three weeks! She custom-designed a dance routine and patiently, with a bright smile and boundless energy, practiced with the children to get them ready to perform on the big stage. She was super engaging and provided individual attention to all the children. The parents chose to host the lessons on weekends in various locations on the UES/UWS and Megha was very flexible in meeting the group to conduct her lessons she also travels and teaches children and adults in other locations in Manhattan, other boroughs, NJ, Westchester. She even attended the actual event at school to make sure the children had an opportunity to practice their dance before the performance and were comfortable on stage. Megha provided beautiful costumes – which she designs herself – for the children to wear on the day of the performance which was super convenient! Our Kindergarteners loved every minute of their lessons with Megha, performed with amazing confidence, and are looking forward to dancing with her again next year!

Megha is an amazing dance teacher especially to train little kids is really challenging but she did it. 5 stars.

Amazing artists and very professional. The team coordinator follows with the performers makes it seamless and audiences were totally engaged. Fun to work with this group.

Megha is such an amazing instructor. Her energy is so contagious and her ability to teach and push you learn the steps is perfection. I have attended the Bhangra beginners/intermediate class for 2 1/2 semesters and I'm looking forward to the next one. It's fun, I always learn something new and I have a great time. Learning to dance Bhangra has helped me physically to be more healthy and active. It is my favorite part of the weekend.Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.
