They have it all. Plus they are the nicest bunch of people working there. They donate prime floorspace for several cats in need of homes. They have pet adoption parties and are an asset to the neighborhood. Small business with a giant heart.
The staff here was amazing. I left a bag from another boutique and I searched all the pet stores I could have stopped in and it was this one. The bag was right where I had left it and because I couldn’t get make there to get it right away, they held it for me. Personable like a small town with big city convenience.
Fatima is by far the best worker in this store!! My dog has been suffering from allergies came in not knowing how to help my dog, she recommended the Stella and Chewy Limited Ingredient Diet!! My dog loved it and she even made sure to give my dog treats that were allergy friendly! By far the best sales person in this NYCPET store! Definitely will be coming back!! Thanks you rock!
We’ve been using NYC Pet 5th Ave Brooklyn for years. Their products are top quality and their service is excellent. I want to make a special note about a very new employee, Maddie. She recently yesterday helped me with an ongoing issue and I am very confident the issue will be closed soon. She is efficient, communicates well, follows up and just does her job with that extra oomph. Great addition to the NYU Pet staff.
Great group of people working here and always very friendly. I love that the store is pet friendly and have treats they give your dogs upon asking if it's alright. They sell top brand food and at times have samples your pet can try. They also sell animal toys, harness , Goat milk etc... It's a wonderful place to shop.
I called and asked if they had a cat in the store they used to and they said no. They were very nice about it though.
Great selection of high end pet food. One of the only places that sells the only brand of cat food my kitty will eat. There are always adorable cats for adoption in the storefront windows. They do often close earlier than hours listed so it’s always worth giving them a call before you head there.
I visit this pet shop often and love to see they’re pet shop cat named George. They have cats in the windows for adoption which are nice to see as you walk by, and they treat the animals well. They also sell good products and will occasionally have cat food samples. They even had a celebration for George’s birthday offering cake to people for free and a variety of items were on sale. This small business deserves 5 stars and always lights up my day whenever I stop in.
I’ve been using NYC Pet ID tags for years now - for several dogs. They are the the best tags I’ve ever found - sturdy, easy to read, lots of room for information on both sides!, and they arrive quickly after ordering. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
the staff are always lovely and helpful! But the store is WAY too hot. It’s dangerous and unfair to the workers, plus it’s not well ventilated which makes me question their commitment to virus safety. Dear NYC Pet’s owner- give your workers safe conditions or we’ll find another local pet store to support! It’s not right and frankly unacceptable. MANAGEMENT- GIVE YOUR WORKERS AIR CONDITIONING FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE
