Story

Oak Street Studios is a community school of fine arts for youth. It was founded in 1999 by Beth Wilbur Van Mierlo as a space to engage students in the richness of high-end, fine arts instruction. Oak Street Studios focuses on providing a working studio space for students to immerse themselves in world of art, with local teaching artists. Students meet once a week over three trimesters. Classes are ongoing with open enrollment. We host and art walk at the end of each trimester featuring students work.
Oak Street Studio's instructors are fun, energetic and full of life! They are dedicated to providing the highest quality of instruction available to young people. Our curriculum offers a wide variety of comprehensive classes steeped in art history and literature. They are designed to fit the ability, experience and interest of any student.
Other programs include: Art Birthday Parties, First Friday Drop Off and Art Reach; community programs outside our studio walls.
