May 2024 was my very 1st time renting a 5th wheel camper at the campground. I enjoyed the amenities that was provided by the campground host Kim + crew. My 4 sisters that lives in RI or Mass came to visit or stay with me at the campground. I used to live in RI but now I reside in Seattle. I am going to try to rent one of the campground trailers at least 2 times a year. One of my sisters is a resident at the campground. She and her family likes the location, other campers, the seasonal events.. Happy campers we are!
This was our first time at this campground but we have camped many other places as a family and I must say, Oakleaf will definitely be one of our go to campgrounds from now on. There weren’t any extreme rules, everyone including the other campers were super friendly and it’s a kid friendly environment for sure. The water & electricity on the tent sites were life savers and the park & pool just made it perfect for the kids. If I HAD TO complain about anything, it would be the smell of poop here and there but I would assume that’s because there are many RVs there and we all know how that goes plus dogs are allowed there lol 10/10 would recommend
The owner of this campground is amazing. She went out of her way to help us a couple of times. We got there kinda late so didn't use the facilities or the pool. The store was well stocked.Service: 5/5
We had a wonderful time staying at Oakleaf! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The campground is clean and organized. The pool is immaculate. We had a nice two day stay and we will be coming back.Rooms: 5/5
I meant to leave a review years ago but better late than never. In October 2018 I was hiking across RI and stopped in after a long 25 mile hike exhausted and got a tent site. The woman who checked me in was extremely friendly and so were the other people in RVs staying there. I was preparing for a cold night in the tent when a guy who worked there maybe the owner allowed me into an empty RV they owned so I could sleep somewhere warm. The people who own and operate this place are top notch good people and just wanted to say thanks again! If you remember me lol
Nice campground especially for the price. Friendly staff. The bathrooms were clean. The pool was clean and it went from 3ft-6ft. We stayed in a tent and the sites were a good size for our large tent. There weren't many people staying there when we went so it was very quiet. The rec room was ok. Pretty old and not much there but a nice bonus. There's a cute store with beautiful handmade items for sale as well as snacks and wood or other necessities. I would stay here again.
Best family campground by far!! We love it there. Every weekend has a different themeRooms: 5/5
The people working here were very helpful and generous when I stopped here during the rain on a hiking trip. Thanks!Service: 5/5
Went tent camping for our sons 5th birthday. We loved every second of our experience at Oakleaf! Stayed one night but wished we stayed longer. The staff were incredibly friendly & accommodating. The pool was clean and fun for the kids. Our campsite was spacious, equipped with running water, a picnic table, electric outlets and nearby to bathrooms. We have no complaints and will definitely make this a yearly tradition!
We rented 1 of 2 campers they offer for the weekend. It was close to home incase our three month old wasn't doing well and gave us a chance to see how our five year old would enjoy camping. The price was great and the RV was clean and equipped with essentials toilet paper, starter trash bag, soap, dishes, sheets. Everyone there was very nice. They had a kids craft which my son enjoyed and other activities on Saturday. My only wish is that the rec hall had some more stuff to do. It's also not on a lake so you wouldn't be doing any fishing on site but they do have a pool. It was too early in the year for us to use. I would definitely go back but maybe with another group so we had more company. The camp store also had really decent prices which I appreciated!
