This place never stopped to amaze me great atmosphere they did a few upgrades in the last time I went there perfect place to have it any type of tournament great and perfect environment for kids to progress and and to Showcase their talents
I love this place and this is one of the most cleanest place in the gym and they have track and field upstairs. We took S51 bus and it’s super convenient heading towards the gym. Also S52 and S51 bus goes to this gym and if anybody wants to workout you go to this gym. The workers took care of me to get my another yearly membership back.
Amazing facility with a free Gym but the best part is their kids track program. The ocean breeze wave runners, they get some of the best coaching and racing experience in the state of Ny. My daughter built her confidence here and I owe it to the staff and coach Stephen who does a wonderful job. We have moved and haven’t found an alternative to this great program.
Wasn't bad But the park officer that was giving directions to where the buses should park wasn't accurate where the port a johns we're, to relieve your self a bus driver has to walk 1/2 a mile away, and the senior citizens sometimes can't hold it. The directions we're clear where to park and what lot but... Where the Port of Johns were was not clear at all, not good. The beach and the boardwalk looking out to the Atlantic..... Beautiful, I do not hate the experience, But put more port a johns out with toylet paper.
Beautiful space, terribly unprofessional staff. Everyone has a pass the buck mentality, communication is poor and far from thorough. It seems like a culture built from top down as the Center Manager Ali exhibits same culture.
Staff went out of their way to change times 3 different times in order to ensure my son did not qualify for finals. Stay away as best you can unless you want to receive a “Staten Island” screw job!
Probably one of the best indoor tracks I’ve ever run on but sadly I have to give it one star because of a lack of Mountain Dew.
This is a spacious, clean facility that houses indoor track and field events. Plenty of parking is available, but costs $20. Event entrance is in the rear, but limited street-side parking is available if your willing to walk 15-20 minutes.
The place itself is nice however the track coach was extremely rude to my brother and would always pick on him. Felt like racism. Do not recommend this team of coach Stephan.
A new facility so it is nice to look at and clean on the inside and outside. Once you woke up the entry ramp there are nice views of the bridge and the other boroughs. There is accessible bathrooms and entries and space proceeding for anyone like me in the motorized wheelchair. This is a nice City recreation center and it is only $100 for a yearly membership. There is parking available too. This is a great investment by the city and it shows. I can't think of any cons or negatives but only pros.
