Octapharma Plasma

This was one of my fastest visits. Tech did an awesome job putting me on the machine. Tech that took me off also did a good job. Both were very pleasant and professional. Even though we came in at different times, I ended up sitting beside my daughter! I was so excited lol.

I donated for my first time. They were respect and helped me feel comfortable with the process. I plan on returning to donate again. The only trouble was that they were short staffed so took longer than expected. I hope they can hire more people so as to not have this issue again.

The old crew that isn't there anymore was awesome. The new crew of octapharma is very slow and disorganized. I had came there as a new patient at 9am. I was giving the wrong questionnaires and had to do it all over again. Most of them do not know how to find a vein nor stick it right. I didn't get out of there until 5pm. Very slow, unknowledgeable, untrained, and disorganized.

Going there was my first time giving plasma and I had a great experience. The only part I had a problem with was when I was answering the questionnaire and I was not able to sit down in A chair. I have arthritis in my lower back and can not stand for very long and because I had to stand while answering those questions, I was in horrible pain. The staff here was great. Answered every question I had and was very professional and fun to talk with. Now that I know how it's like to give and how much plasma donation is needed, I'm definitely going back to give.

I'm done with this place. I have put up with to much. I am never going back. Slow, Nasty bathroom, cheap skates that don't want to pay anymore. I even put up with them being shut down for a week because they got hacked. Paying me $40 on my $60 day was the last straw. A real slap in the face. Plus everyone that works there acts like they don't want to work there. I'm out!!!!!

These people are the laziest people I have ever seen. This location needs to be shut down and everyone working at this location needs to be fired. Lazy. Slow. Unprofessional. Go to the Newtown Road or anywhere else. The employees at this location little Creek Norfolk would probably prefer that because they wouldn’t have to work. Disgraceful.

They talk too much. They don’t care if they’re inserting the needle the right way. And oh be careful, they like to blow veins as well. Mine is sore as I speak. Praying to God it doesn’t get infected. This place IS NOT the place to be poked and prodded four times in the same arm just for $75 first visit. I actually WANT to keep my arms on my torso, thank you. I guess they just let ANYONE draw blood from living beings nowadays.

the people are very nice at my local optapharma. Kaitlyn and Logan were friendly and professional. I am comfortable and pleased with the level of service provided. I do wish the turnover rate of employees were less. Perhaps sacrificing profits and paying employees a little more would help to retain quality staff members. After all,the end goal should be helping people who require plasma for their health needs all while maintaining quality staff. As a donor/seller of plasma,that would be my wish.

I had a very nice experience. Everybody was great. Everything was done properly quickly.

This is the worst place to donate. The workers including the manager talk to damn much instead of doing their job! People including me has been sitting for an hour and they move so slow. It's ridiculous.. Need a new manager. She's just incompetent as the workers
