Oklahoma Family Counseling Centers

I worked very closely with OKFCS 2 years ago with their PASS-B program in a district in the OKC area. The director, techs, and Case Managers with whom I worked were perhaps the most unethical and unknowledgeable people I've ever seen, and the therapist was too timid to be effective. They routinely placed students in inappropriate restraint holds (arms pulled behind back, knee in back, face pushed into wall, or laying directly on top of them). One CM slapped a student, and I had her removed. Another collected student medication and held it in an unsecured cabinet in his room until he was caught and ultimately removed. They routinely attempted to violate IDEA. They had borderline ID kids write sentences as therapy. My district tried in vain to help them. In the end, my district was forced to end their services. Having worked with them, I can honestly say they should be avoided.

I have tried to find out who the owner is but have failed because that isn't public information. The Clinical Director (Mary Dawn Jenkins) and the Supervisor (Jenna Sinclair) of Oklahoma Family Counseling are so unprofessional. While they are in high positions at this location, they have also been operating their own Private Practice for months! Unprofessional and unethical!
