Worst delivery order I have received. Placed order at 6:30. Order wasn't ready until 2 1/2 hours later. Pizza was overcooked and cold. Cheesecake were plain, missing the "Fresh Berries" Drinks never made it. Door Dash issued a full refund due to the poor quality. Will not eat or order from there in the future.
I ordered a large Chicago 7 thin crust and a garden side salad Friday. I don't think the pizza had any cheese and only had toppings on maybe 2/3 of the pizza. I had to microwave it to soften the crust because it was so overcooked that the crust would shatter when I bit into it. The pizza was $26 but as bad as a cheap frozen pizza from the convenience store. The salad container was only 1/3 full and consisted of lettuce and croutons with some carrot shavings and two cherry tomatoes. That's a very bad salad for $5. I emailed the Old Chicago in Broomfield where I purchased this lousy food but they don't care enough about their customers to respond. Six months ago my wife ordered a pizza for pick up from this same branch. When I arrived they knew nothing of my order so I ordered the pizza and waited for it. A month later my credit card statement showed two pizzas. I don't know why I didn't contest those charges. I will never buy anything from this restaurant ever again and suggest no one else does either.
We have been coming here for over 10 years. The last four times over the last 2 years the pizza has been terrible! It is soggy, over greasy and we have had to send it back multiple times. This place has gone downhill. It is NOT hard to make a pizza…. Is it? Parking: No issues
This Old Chicago used to be our go to place. I'm not entirely sure if it is because of COVID, understaffing or them just straight up not caring but it has gone down hill big time. We ordered online to go last night and our food was awful. It stated it was going to be ready at 6:28 pm, when we arrived they noticed that they forgot to put our pizza in the oven. It wasn't ready for another 35-40 minutes. By the time we got home with our food, everything else was cold and stale. The Italian Nachos were burnt and had little to no cheese and toppings and came with no spicy marinara. The Chicago Fire Calzone had buffalo sauce in it, when has it ever come with buffalo sauce? Even the menu doesn't mention it. The pizza we waited forever for was average at best. I sympathize as I've worked in the industry and understand the struggle but this is probably the 3rd time in a row we have come here and it has been absolute garbage. I guess it is time to stop giving them a chance and take our money elsewhere.
Whatever old Chicago once was it is all gone now. Got served “pretzel” bread sticks with cold cheese we had to ask to get heated up and an over cooked pizza with horrible service with a waitress that was MIA the whole time. Tried take out from here a few months ago and just as bad.
First time coming into this old Chicago in years and it was amazing! Daniel was our server and he was very attentive and helpful. The food came out better than expected and was some of the best restaurant food I’ve had this year. Drinks were good as well. My whole group was happy for the 2+ hours we were there.
Ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It was extremely dry. Had to get some extra sauce. It was tasty but appeared to have sat for time. Look at the dried up hunk of cheese in the middle!
Really this place used to be the best place to go for dinner, I don't know if management or ownership changed but the menu items have been cut in quality. The Italian melt is now two pieces of turkey with a little bit of salami and pepperoni on cheap bread, compared to the stacked meat on two slices of great bread... I implore they bring back the quality and increase prices instead, I know employees are hard to come by currently but still, cutting quality is going to drive the business under.
The initial experience was poor. We stood at the front door for over 5 minute while everyone looked at us just to tell us the bar area was open seating when finally someone came up. Seems like this location is super understaffed. Our server was very nice but our pizza was a little underdone, mozzarella sticks were good and so was our burgers.
This is a great location, but needs more staff in the bar area. Went to watch the Broncos game, our bartender was preparing to leave, but the bar seemed like they didn't have anyone else to cover. Once we closed with our first server, our second sever didnt stop by our table once. Me and my friends finished watching the game without buying a single beer... missed opportunity to sell some beers to some fans who went to watch the game
