The enormity of the significance of this building hits you squarely when you walk through the door. This was one of my most anticipated stops on The Freedom Trail and I wasn't disappointed. To know that we were standing in the same room that the Declararion of Independence was read aloud gave me chills. Such an important piece in America's history. Don't miss this when you visit Boston!
Some of America’s greatest debates were held in the old South meetinghouse. I live it was very nice to see how it was used over time. And it’s time it was the biggest place in town for demonstrations of all kinds to be hounds. The architecture is really amazing! When you walk around you can feel all the important moments that happen to her. Well worth a stop if you are on the liberty trail.

I had, to my shame, no knowledge of this place, or what it really meant. While visiting Boston, a quick glance through Wikipedia page led us there. Its amazing, that you can still visit a place which breathes history, feel you are coming into contact with nation's beginnings. Very important place, to see, to understand, to remember.
Amazingly beautiful building. It's filled with history you can read and see. The staff is eager to answer any questions you have about history or the building.
A beautiful building and perfect place to learn some American history. The inside is shaped kinda like a church or courtroom and you can easily envision the founding fathers in full discussion. There are plenty of informational signs with maps, pictures and even some audio QR codes for listening on your phone. We spent 30 - 45 mins here. The same ticket is also valid for the Old State House right down the road which I would also recommend.
Love history and the young man that I video taped was really knowledgeable
