I was looking for a park to take my dog walking while I was visiting here out of town. It was the perfect place! Secluded, lots of nature, access to the river, very nicely kept and clean. Was about a two-mile Trail if you don't go down to the river and stick to the paved path. Will definitely go again!
It is amazing the funest thing I've been to it has so many things it may not look big but it is HUMUNGUS
A quiet and wonderful little park, great place to slow things down and just listen to the sounds around you. Also a great place to walk the dog or picnic. They also have boards around the park with interesting information about the surrounding area.

Use to live in the blue church house. Always a nice peaceful place. Gonna have to make a trip and see all the improvements.
Nice park. I just wish the paved trail along the river was longer than 1.5 miles. I'll love it once they get the canoe/kayak launch completed! I just hope they plan on opening up the gate to allow vehicles to unload for it would be a long walk on foot carrying them to the river from the parking lot!
Today was a special carnival, it was one of the best car shows and gatherings I've been to in a long time.
I enjoy it, I used to live in Waverly before the park was built. They have a lot of signs that tell the history of the town of Waverly.
Went to a wedding here. Very beautiful place.
