I reported Dr. ZONG and his staff to the medical board for malpractice and NOTHING was done with my claim. After my surgery, I mistakenly sent him a 30k check that was supposed to be sent to the surgical center where my surgery was performed and HE KEPT THE MONEY!!! He never sent it to the surgical center!!! I was sued by them although I proved that he was sent the check and cashed it! Despite YEARS of that horrible experience, I now have terrible problems with my feet and have to have surgery to correct his work. I cannot move my pinky toe on my left foot because of his horrendous work. Dr. Zong should be placed in jail. He is a crook!!!

It took me years to carefully search for a foot doctor that I felt confortable with and what I found was Dr. Oliver Zong. I followed him from practice to practice cause he moved and saw him about 4 times within a 3 year timeframe. I finally decided to get the surgery done with him and I scheduled it for June 9th today for the right foot and June 14th for the left. I spent hundreds of dollars preparing to be comfortable at home while disabled, had my sister fly out to help me, took time off of work to get my disability request in order, and just took tons of time to prepare for this emotionally. The day before my surgery yesterday the surgery center calls to confirm my surgery, I said that everything was good on my end and that I will be there. An hour or so after that, Dr. Zong calls me to say that due to "unfortunate events," he has to cancel my surgery and until further notice he can not reschedule me. I was horrified, speechless, and just so upset. After all my prepping, he called me the day before my surgery to cancel. I couldnt wrap my held around it so I called the practice where he worked. The receptionist asked for my name and I told her, along with the name of my doctor. She sounded confused and said that my doctor is listed as Xina Zong. I said that couldnt be right. I then called the surgery center to make sure he canceled with them cause I didnt want to be held liable for him canceling. When I called they were unaware so glad I called. This whole experience has put me on an emotional rollercoaster and I regret trusting and putting so much time into Dr. Zong. Who knew that he was so unreliable and so last minute with his cancellations. Dont let him get your hopes up like he did me. Find someone who you know you can trust.
