While I will continue to shop there and I do enjoy the deals, it us frustrating when I go there for one thing shorts and the only size they've put away is the size I need. The sizes around what I needed, which was 3T, all had smaller selections of shorts still available. If the summer clothes are truly not going to be available until next year, then all of the sizes should be put away not just one of the sizes in the store.
Posting publicly because every time I go in there it’s always the white ladies who are nice and greeting you properly. But don’t get rung up by one of the black ladies because THEY HATE their job I will be continuing to take my things but fix your costumer service please Once day you will catch the wrong person in the store all because the workers want to act like they HATE their job. Work in an environment where you’ll be able to smile I noticed the moment the manager left sight attitudes changed
We went in to sell a bunch of books and toys, no apparel at all. The website tells us “apparel must be neatly folded in a box, bin, or tote” which we were using pTOTE BAGS. The lady who I guess “greeted” us just rudely told us everything had to be in a box, bin or tote and “it’s been that way for three years.” No apology, no reasoning as to why, didn’t ask what we even had, we even had things too big to fit in a box. As we awkwardly were just left standing there we just walked out with all our stuff and none of it made any sense. I guess this store just doesn’t want to actually buy back items? Or the employees are just that rude. Either way, I don’t ever want to go to this location in the future for any of my buying or selling needs.
This is a great store, especially if you need something that you know you'll only use short term, such as clothing, bassinets, etc. Although I was impressed with the stock and the prices in store, there was a big dead cockroach in the floor, and the staff was obviously overworked and stressed. While waiting in line, I watched the supervisor yelling at a young employee about misplacing a payout ticket. Supervisors should NEVER discipline in this way, especially not while the employee is in the middle of taking other customers. If the employee misplaced something, then it is also the fault of the supervisor who is not allowing them to focus on their tasks, and that is a matter to discuss in private with the employee. I'm hoping that was just a fluke and the supervisor apologized later for acting so unprofessional to her employee. It made for an unpleasant end to my shopping.
Very poor customer service from a lady who is the head of the team there. Especially towards minorities. She won’t think twice to shout at “you” in front of people without reason. She used bad words towards a lady who doesn’t speak or understand the bad language everyone nearby heard. I know we won’t go back there and I don’t recommend this place at all especially with this employee there.
One of the biggest and most organized OUAC I’ve ever been in. I enjoy stopping in from time to time for good deals and to just find unique things like Toy Story Vans. Paid $7.50 for these, took them home, cleaned them and they’re brand new.
The team at this store could use some customer service training. I’ve been in food service, retail, hospitality and nonprofit industries over the last 3 decades of my working life so I think I have a decent handle on knowing when someone has been properly trained. I’ve been in twice over the last two months and have been treated as if I was a bother both times. An employee looked straight at me when I walked in with my pack n play and crib and didn’t even crack a smile. They seem to repeat the same phrases over and over to each customer who walks in and seem as though they can’t be bothered to answer a simple question for a first time customer. I was by myself and needed help getting part of the crib out of my car. I asked if someone could help me and the lady said “yeah” and proceeded to do what she was doing leaving me standing there for several more minutes before I asked again. She simply repeated “yeah”. Another minute passes and she starts to walk to the door. She never indicated that she was the one who was going to help me so I was again just standing there. She turns to me and says “where your car?” I felt like I was putting her out and if I hadn’t already brought half of the crib in I would have just left. They did offer me a decent price for the crib but the overall demeanor of the employees is just not what I expect particularly in a children’s store. I understand that they’re busy all of the time but there are plenty of stores I frequent that are always busy and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I will try one of the other locations to see if they might have a bit better customer service.
One staff member was really rude to me and spoke to me like I am nothing and do not understand how credit cards work. She also kept blaming it on my card that their machine was declining my card yet I kept getting notifications that a purchase had been made on my card. I had also just come out of a pharmacy where I had used the same card with no issues and went on to use it somewhere else after that. In the store, I just ended up using a different card. I feel like I got the treatment I got because of my race. And oh, this was after a long wait to be served and noone said sorry for the wait which I would have understood since it seems there was a new person learning.
Most of the staff was friendly, im not sure why they wont look at your sell items if tgey are in a bag, but i know mow, take them in a box, so ill hVe to go back again.
Very long wait to sell stuff, the staff could be friendlier but I was very impressed with how organized the store was. They also had a wide selection of everything, including onesies 10 for $10.
