Ono Hawaiian BBQ

The food was good, but I am disappointed with the short ribs. Is this really how they are? Big fat pieces of bone without much meat, and almost all fat? I have seen other ribs like these, and the bones aren't as big and it has much more meat. To me, this is unacceptable and the cook needs to think of the customer and give the customer better options. The mac salad to me was perfect. It did not have too much mayo like other places with a similar mac salad. The chicken was moist and tasty. Just one recommendation I would make is that they cut the chicken into smaller pieces. It seems they leave bigger pieces in order to fill more of the plate and give less of it. Overall, the food was good. The only thing is that they need to stop skimping out on the food. I understand that this might be a management issue, so I implore management to do better and stop thinking with their wallets.

When you ask for a specificity such as Grill the onion's, you'd expect Grill them. Not saute them, or lightly cook then. This has happened more than once so I've given them a chance. I'll no longer order the island fire dish anymore. It's great, but for that specifically I'd rather eat at somewhere else.

This was my first time ever trying Ono Hawaiin BBQ, and I am pleasantly surprised. For $15, the Hawaii BBQ Platter & Crab Rangoons were enough to satisfy both my sister and I. We shared lunch and left full... and not that full for only an hour feeling; the rest of the night. When my sister suggested the macaroni salad, I was skeptical, but it turned out to be a highlight, and I really enjoyed the sauce options to complement my teriyaki chicken & rice! Although I get major Chipotle and Panda Express vibes, the flavor certainly exceeded the price, so this will be one of my new fast food faves. #lovejonezin

I'm sad that I have to give this location ONLY 1 STAR. I'm on a special diet and have been coming here once a week for the past 6 months to order the family meal. Everything was going fine except about 2 weeks ago they started giving us less meat but charging us the same amount. I know for a FACT that it's less meat because when I come home I have to separate the meat into portions by WEIGHT and it no longer adds up to the weighted portions that it used to. This is NOT a company-wide issue because I placed an order at the other Upland location on 19th/Campus and theirs was the correct amount/weight of meat in the order. *So what's going on?* Is this location on Mountain Ave off of the 10 Fwy not making profit so they are cutting back their portions? Are the employees hungry and skimming from the top? I highly doubt it Is the manager trying to make the sales look better than they are? Who knows? But I CAN tell you this, they have just lost a lot of business from me.

Friendly service and reasonable prices. The kalua pork was slightly dry and underseasoned, but the BBQ beef and short ribs were excellent!

So I bought a Hawaiian Sun and forgot to grab it and I'm too lazy to go back so if you want it . Ask the counter to see if you can have it. It's now March 18, 2022 3:46. Tried calling but couldn't get through

This is only my second time eating here but it's really good.. Definitely recommend... it's the #1 Lol

Passing through town, looking for a place for a quick bite - stopped off here, and boy or girl, it did not disappoint! Food was excellent - I opted for the Hawaiian Chicken plate and it was tasty and fresh. The chicken was moist, the macaroni salad fresh, and the rice cooked just right. When nearby, do give them a try - I definitely recommend!

My chicken katsu was raw. Didn't feel like dying from salmonella. Staff rude. Probably won't go back to this location. They did replace my food though.
