Ootoya Times Square

Most awesome restaurant with well-mannered service and amazingly delicious foods in a pleasant ambient!! I've been there several times and all items I've had were excellent, authentic, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend.

Food is good although the staff here make lots of mistakes. Guess they don’t pay that much attention now that they are famous. One time my order is wrong and they made no change and charged me the whole price. Another time the tomato in the dish still has supermarket’s sticker on it, ugh.

Cozy and authentic Japanese restaurant with reasonable prices. Very pleased with the food and staff that are extremely friendly and accommodating. Tasty, fulfilling and worth the price.

Remarkably close to what you would get in Tokyo but for 2-3x the price. For those who don’t know, Ootoya is a Japanese fast food place that costs 15$ to 20$ max.

I really enjoyed the onigiri here! We tried the salted pork scallion, spicy chicken kurozu and the silky pork tonkatsu. Each were wrapped neatly and had lots of flavor. I highly recommend the salted pork scallion ones!

The food here is amazing, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the service is very fast. I'll totally be back here again when the sushi is served again starting next week!

Wagyu nabe is pretty good. The amount is a bit too much for me.

They still deliver a good quality of good during this time. Whatever you order from menu, they will meet your expectations.

Every visit to this place has been a pleasure, and the food is amazing.
