Operation Street Harvest

About

A comprehensive ministry and community outreach program with programs in Youth Arts, Education and Family Counseling in the heart of DeKalb County.

Story

Operation Street Harvest, Inc Community Center

The focus of Operation Street Harvest (OSH) is on Saving Our Youth. OSH's goal is to raise money for our Out of School, Creative Youth Arts & Education Program, Mentoring, Scholarship and Job Training programs.

Youth Arts & Education Program
Our focus toward "failing children" is urgent. We have partnered with Emory's Dr. Richard Prior (Director of the Symphony Orchestra) to bring OSH to a dynamic Youth Arts and Education program including music, dance, visual arts, modeling, charm, etiquette, woodworking and much more.

A Love Counseling Center
Bishop Dr. Tonya Sumner Brown, Psy.D., M.Div, NCC, LPC, LPCT, OES, CAMS, DVISII, HIV/AIDS/Cancer/Bereavement specialist heads our Counseling Center. We see youth, adolescents (3-18) and adults. We counsel Marriage & Family, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, Anger Management, substance abuse and parenting evaluations, treatments and classes for court.

International Institute of Theology & Psychological Studies
IITPS is certified by and in the consortium of Dayspring Christian University schools. We offer certificate, Bachelor, Master and PH.D's in the areas of Theology and Psychology. We also provide honorary doctorates. Non-traditional students have no fear because your life learning is included here.

Mission

The mission of OSH is to provide a holistic ministry to a community overflowing with homelessness and working poor. It is to take the church off the pews and into the streets. OSH seeks to transform people through the practical application of principles and processes. OSH has the goal to be a liaison between hurting people and community organizations; adopt families for the purpose of strengthening them in a manner which can be ongoing; assist with job needs; reach out to prisoners; provide clothing, food and other material items as needed and available; offer counseling in a safe environment for the sake of providing new beginnings; offer a home conducive to making the Arts and education tools that empower. Our ultimate aim is to provide shelter for a broken and battered world.
