Extremely good service, my whole family goes here! We’re always treated so well, service is as quick as possible depending on how busy they are, and everyone is very helpful and friendly. 10/10

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My mother 84 yrs had an appointment yesterday at 10am with optimaligist and didn't finish until 3:30pm. They had her see the optometrist which she had done so a weeks ago and didn't need to see him again. That took 2 hours and then waiting for the actual doctor took another 2 hours. This place only cares about how much they can charge and over charge the insurance company. Then the staff in the back are unprofessional and unorganized. They are constantly playing and joking around, just like a daycare. Not a good place , I wish I could give them less than 1 star.

I’ve been a patient of new york optical and worked with Mayra since i was 2017 and i’m more than pleased with the service they have provided me all of these years. Definitely go to them. Make your appointment ASAP!!

Mayra is the best she make sure customers are handle very well with respectful. passion . And with care the facility will respect and I love them to pieces thank you me and my family part the facility family

This place is a scam. My experience here was awful. I have blue cross blue shield insurance, my niece has metro health plus; because of the insurance my sons and I have the staff members were way more attentive to my son and i. It was sad to see how the treat us in comparison. My mother has the same insurance as myself, but wasn't as informed as I was. They attempted to charge her more for the same service we got. When I started talking the staff members acted as I'd it was a mistake because they didn't know we was together. Now a month later over 1400 in 1 pair of glasses, my son still does have his glasses. I've called every week asking about the glasses. Ivehad glasses all my life and so has my son. It has never taken a month+ to get the glasses. Unfortunately my son broke his glasses and they are aware of this. There's no reason I'm still waiting to receive them. Please do not lie. There was not any confusion about my coverage. It is so disgusting that you would get online and lie like this. I never ever had a problem about paying for anything. The staff members took 3 weeks to put in the claim with my insurance company. In addition my co pay was only $17. This is even more disappointing. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, lack of urgency and professionalism, the owner get behind a computer and lies. Wow

I want to thank Mayra she is the best and so loving.. I feel welcomed every time I’m there because of Mayra. I had an appointment there today with my kids. Their glasses were ready in 1 hour ! That’s great service! Thank you Mayra your the best

This Opticians business CLEARLY skews in favor of its Latino customers; 95 % ONLY speak Spanish and English speaking customers have to plead for an interpreter. Not a problem if the service is sufficient; but It is NOT. They tell you to come back in a week and when you come back ; it’s oh come back in TWO WEEKS! Disgraceful! I was there to assist an elderly patron who kept getting the run around and having to return multiple times for her glasses. She was given a card by Mayra and told to call and when she called the number; it was to answering service for “off hours!” When I say “run for the hills far away from this place; SPRINT HARD!!!”

HORRIBLE PLACE THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONES THE GIRLS IN THERE TALK ALL DAY AND IF YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT YOU WON'T BE SEEN AT THE APPOINTMENT TIME YOU WILL BE SEEN LIKE AN HOUR AN A HALF AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT THEN THEY WILL SAY OH YOU WILL BE SWWN SHORTLY ‍JUST HORRIBLE SERVICE AND WAIT TIME IF I HAD AN APPOINTMENT IT WILL BE NICE TO BEEN SEEN AT MY APPOINTMENT TIME NOT AN HOUR AFTER WHATS THE PURPOSE OF SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT TIME !??!

Came here for Glasses for my Fiancé was greeted really well once I walked in. Mayra a staff member helped us out, made us feel so comfortable got an eye exam tried on glasses and was out the door in 30 mins. Picked up 1 pair of glasses 2 pairs of sunglasses We talking top of the line and the newest out! The glasses and sunglasses were ready in less then a week! I will definitely come here again and recommend everyone I know! Thank you Mayra and the entire Ny optical team for making my experience one to actually write about.
