Orange Records

Cool place! This old timer loves seeing Vinyl stores & so does our youngest son. Reminiscent of when I was his age. Scored a terrific Johnny Rivers record!

Definitely the best record store in North Dakota if you’re into Indie/Alternative or Electronic music but they have WAY more too. I’ve never had any problem finding the music I like here whether it’s on CD, Vinyl, or cassette and it is organized so it is easy to find what I’m looking for and if I can’t find it, the owner is always helpful and friendly. Owner is also very knowledgable on a wide array of genres, bands, and singers. If you check their Facebook account he is always posting every single record that comes into the store. I would kill to have a store like this in my hometown.

One of my favorite stores in Fargo period. Staff can answer questions but also trust you to do your own shopping and will leave you in peace. My ideal retail experience.

This is the best record store in Fargo-Moorhead and on the short list of best record stores in the entire Midwest. Matt is a fantastic owner and an asset to the community with this shop and his show on Radio Free Fargo/KRFF. Great new section, an always expanding and changing used section, apparel, posters, stickers, pins, turntables...this is paradise for vinyl lovers. Do not miss it.

Love this store! They always have a great selection when I stop in and reasonable prices. I live a couple hours away, but I have made the trip just to visit Orange Records in the past and would do it again.

This is always a must stop at location when in Fargo. Living in the center of the state, it is hard to get my hands on music. Retailers selling music is hard to come by anymore sadly. When I have been in there, it is easy to find something to walk out with. I might not always find exactly what I am looking for immediately, but I find other gems that I need. Not once have I had problems with anyone working in there, and have never had the sense of not being wanted in the store. Still surprised that some feel they have been wronged by anyone in there. Check them out, you will be glad you did.

Great local record store! I went in looking for a Christmas gift for my husband. Also decided to get him a tshirt. The owner was working and remembered my husband and pointed out that he already has the shirt I was going to buy, and recommended a different one! That’s some crazy good service! It’s a good example of why to buy local. They also had the random record that my husband wanted for Christmas. Love Orange Records! Check it out!
