I hired Kerry for my bridal hair and have nothing but fantastic things to say about Kerry and how talented she is. I had two terrible hair trials in a row and Kerry was nice enough to do my hair on a weekend she wasn’t originally planning to work. For the past year or so I have consistently had my hair done by Leah and she is so so wonderful and sweet. Angela one of the owners has been cutting my hair for over 25 years. Now she also cuts both of my daughters' hair. She is always very generous with her time and very invested in making sure all of us are happy with our hair. On the very few occasions over the decades that we've experimented with a new look and I've been less than happy, she has immediately worked with me to make things better! Angela's open and friendly manner, love for styling hair, and ability to listen to what the client needs make her an exceptional stylist. Angela has also given us very thoughtful recommendations about products and valuable advice about hair care. As evidenced by our history together, I wouldn't get my hair cut by anyone but Angela...and my girls feel the same way!

I’ve been coming here for a year and getting my haircut from Cherie. I was impressed with how she took notes after each cut so we could compare what was done and how it turned out. As a guy with very unpredictable curly hair, this is important, because after 4 weeks my usual schedule her skill meant my hair was always still manageable. The staff is also very nice and accommodating when I have to call and reschedule cuts. The location is nice and easily accessible from the highway. Lastly, Cheri puts a hot towel on my hair for a minute while allowing the conditioner to set it. It’s like getting a hot towel after a long haul first-class flight, except better. I didn’t know it existed beforehand, but now that I do, getting a haircut without one will feel like flying coach.

As an older professional woman a good haircut is important to me. Meryl gave me a fantastic haircut! I have finally found a stylist that I love! I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so because she literally gave me the best cut I have ever had. I highly recommend Meryl. Jackie H

As usual, everyone at Orbit was great. Alyssa at the front desk is always on top of her game; she had called Chelsea down before I even got in the door! Chelsea cuts my hair like no other. I have a few cowlicks and she's able to manage them. I was in a rush on my most recent visit and Chelsea was able to expedite my haircut and get me in and out quickly and happily. Plus, you gotta love the Lake Champlain Chocolates on the front counter!

I enjoyed getting my haircut by Kasey. She was very courteous and kind the whole time. They're taking every precaution given the pandemic and I really appreciated it. Definitely coming back!

I have been flying to NYC for my ridiculously expensive haircuts on 5th Avenue for a dozen years about twice/year. After a recent move to Washington DC, I decided to research for a new local stylist. I went to one of the best I could find and was disappointed. While back in Vermont I decided to give my amazing Vermont massage therapist Merlin Trefethen recommendation a try....it was his wife, Meryl Trefethen at Orbit. I was nervous to do so in case I didn’t like her cut, it would be awkward to still see Merlin for my Vermont massages. However I did just that. Meryl is a treasure! Not only did I LOVE the cut, I loved the neck massage, hot towels and her gently, yet thorough head massage and shampoo! She was outstanding! It was an amazing experience. Do yourself a favor and “Experience” a cut by Meryl. It was the first time in a long time I started receiving a lot of compliments on my hair!! Yay Meryl!

Horrible. The co-owner cut my hair to my chin when i asked for collar bone length. It has taken almost 2 years to grow to where i wanted it cut in the first place. I showed her a picture and everything. She did a horrible job cleaning up my layers. Maybe other stylists there are good but not the co-owner who claims to be the highest rated cutter.

Someone in your salon did my grand daughters hair for her junior prom. Not only did you royally screw up her hair, you also made her pay for it. Nice job. You should be ashamed of yourself. Not only should you have not charged her, you should have given her a gift certificate to come back at another time. That is just good business. Instead she left in tears and didn't want to go to her prom. Hope you are good with that.
