I have worked with Dean in the past and he does wonderful work. He did my headshots, and more, he shot our wedding announcement photos. I also took a digital photography class and had a great experience. Thanks Dean!

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to work with Dean of Orcatek photography, and I had a truly great time! Dean met me at the door with a big smile and showed me around his exceptional studio right away. It was so easy to get ready thanks to his huge dressing room and he is simply a joy to be around. During the shoot he was very fun up-beat, fun, and professional. I would recommend anyone to work with him! He will make you feel very comfortable and you can be sure to get some stunning photos in a very quick manner!!

I took a private class with 2 friends with Dean. He was amazing! He has a gift of explaining technical terms in a way that's easy to understand. He personalizes with his experiences and makes the class fun! His unique style of teaching helps you to remember what you are learning. Once you take his class, he tells you to call anytime with any questions. He even teaches well over the phone! Thanks, Dean!

I attended Dean's beginner photography class today and it was phenomenal! I have had my camera for a couple years now, and have never felt comfortable using it. I know that it is a powerful tool, but my pictures never turned out the way I wanted. I was always confused with aperture, shutter speed and ISO despite my efforts of trying to learn online on my own. He cleared up all of these functions and MORE! I am so excited to use my camera comfortably now! I am definitely interested in taking more classes from Dean.

Best corporate headshot I've every gotten! Dean took time to take different angles, allow for suit changes, adjust lighting, and discuss what the audience might be. He recommended a friendlier and more dressed-down look than what I first envisioned, and it ended up being a much better idea. Basically, he takes his time, and offers helpful suggestions. It is a rare that you get to take a photography class Hands-On I really think that you can learn a lot better that way!! I took an introductory class here for DSLR'S Dean did a fabulous job and really got me excited about photography! I ended up taking an online class and learning a little bit more but ended up going back to Dean's class because of the hands on and face-to-face education! I recently took a private lesson with him for Photoshop he was very patient I asked a million questions and took so many notes he never seemed frustrated and really listen to me and took the time to make the class efficient!! I would highly recommend his classes he says that they are not usuallyvery busy during the holidays so if you want to take a class somewhere in February is where they're going to start again unless you talk to him personally!!!!! I would highly recommend his classes to anyone "Please like and follow me for more fun reviews"

After two years of a really nice Nikon DSLR sitting on our shelf due to a lack of knowledge on how to use it, my partner signed me up for the Introduction to Photography class with Orcatek Photography. I was apprehensive about the 4 hour duration, but quickly found that it could have easily been longer! The instructor, Dean, was incredibly patient, informative, and worked with each individual to get to know their camera, it's settings, and what beginners/hobbyists should or shouldn't be using on the camera. I would highly recommend anyone unfamiliar with digital SLR photography to take this class. I can't wait to go out and shoot!

I took the Intro to Photography Class with Dean this morning and it was worth the drive! His presentation style is laid back while giving you the information you need, no fluff, no filler! I look forward to the Secrets of Creative Photography class he offers! I walked away excited to use the new technical techniques he taught!

My first photography class and I had alot of fun! Not to mention, I got a bit sick and Dean offered me a snack from his own lunch to keep me going. All around good guy, very easy to talk to. He offers great topics that others don't share such as photography tricks and even is willing to give advice one your own work. I recommend this class and his services.
