During our wedding planning, we knew that the most important aspect for us was to have excellent photography. We wanted to work with a photographer who was professional, skilled, fun, and flexible for for our less-than-traditional, games-themed wedding. I went to a wedding where Amanda was the photographer and got to "see her in action" before we made our decision. Once I saw how excellent those photos were, it was an easy choice -- Amanda of Orchard Cove Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding!
Amanda did a fantastic job with our photos. Her shots are gorgeous and truly captured the life of the wedding -- we wanted natural, fun shots, nothing too serious or traditional, and she delivered. She was flexible, accommodating, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. She took photos that I didn't know she had gotten and did a great mix of candid shots and posed. I 100% recommend her! Thank you, Amanda!

When looking for a wedding photographer in Vermont, we knew we wanted someone who could capture the essence of our big day: not just the smiles, but the emotions and love behind them. After seeing some of Amanda’s wedding photography and learning about her unobtrusive style of shooting, I knew it would be a good fit. Her candid photos are all so powerful and truly convey the moment they capture…this was exactly what we wanted for our wedding photography, and boy, did Amanda deliver! Over the course of the year leading up to our wedding, Amanda was often in touch to see if she could help in any way throughout the planning process. She gave fantastic advice on our wedding timeline, which let us enjoy our day without once feeling rushed, stressed or worried. Everything went off without a hitch! Throughout the planning process, Amanda became a real friend to us, something I hadn’t expected to happen but am so glad did. On our wedding day, Amanda was extremely organized, getting us through family portraits and our portraits as a couple quickly and painlessly (whew!). She made us laugh as we paraded through downtown Middlebury during our first look (which, by the way, makes for a MUCH smoother day). During our reception, we I barely knew Amanda and her second shooter were there… but when we did see her, she had the biggest smile on her face. She was enjoying herself too, which is reflected in her photography. The 700+ photos from our big day are so beautiful and will make for many teary, happy viewings in the years to come. Amanda captured the spirit and energy of our day, as seen through the tiny details, the laughs and the candid portraits of the people in our lives who mean the most. Yes, wedding photography is quite the investment. But, after the countless hours planning and when the big day has come and gone, your wedding photography is the only tangible thing you have left. You’ll want beautiful photos to look back on and feel the joy you experienced.
