Pleasant enough wool shop, friendly had some interesting wool. Didn’t meet my expectations but then I wasn’t sure what to expect. Been spoilt with a small shop in Trowbridge. Go in and look you will end up buying something . Now have wool to create a wonderful memory of my time in Bath
What a gem! I highly recommend visiting this amazing shop. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Support this small business. I have visited again and am still amazed by this gem of a shop. I had a very specific project in mind and the staff were so helpful, digging through pattern books for me. I came away with everything I needed to complete my project.
Love this little gem we happened upon in May 2018 during a day trip with my sister and nieces to Bath. One can never go wrong with purchasing souvenir yarns locally dyed/spun/milled etc., something you can’t easily get at home. I had such a positive experience at Wool I decided to go back the following year with the husband in tow, and I did! Laura and her team are always wonderful and knowledgeable about their products and offerings. When Covid is a thing of the past, I can’t wait to visit Laura and crew—and squish all of her beautiful yarns again!
Fantastic yarn shop, such a lovely experience. Amazing choice, jam packed with gorgeousness. Laura was so helpful, even taught me how to do a certain stitch so I could go away with the confidence to knit a cardigan for the first time. I hope I get to visit Bath again next year, I’ve been 4 times and Wool is always where I head first!
Staff in the shop was very helpful. When I came to the shop first time they didn't tell me that length of knitting needles cable included length of needles. And I had to come back next day to change cable to the longer one. But they changed cable quickly without problems. And they changed one of the needles, which was broken, quickly and without problems when I came to the shop third time. It was very nice to visit this shop 3 times just for buying a pair of knitting needles.
Tucked away in a small street, close to the train station and behind Marks & Spencer's. Beautiful yarns, with many useful, inspiring swatches. Friendly, helpful staff. Well worth visiting.
Popped in today as I'm interested in learning to knit. Spoke to Lotus and they were amazing! Got me all set up with my first project and an amazing book recommendation. So so helpful and has made me super excited to get started. Thanks so much! Will let you know how I get on
Really good wool shop with a great selection of yarns. Friendly staff.
Always helpful staff with a good knowledge of their products. They carry a wide range of wools and accessories, making it and ideal one stop shop
Lovely shop with a large variety of quality yarns and tools. Staff is lovely and knowledgeable. They have lots of swatches knitted up using various yarns so you can feel and see what it will be like once it's worked up. It's down a quiet back street so you won't usually come across it by accident, but it's worth hunting around to find it.
