EXTREMELY poor all around. In fact, probably the worst such place I've ever dealt with. They demand credit card info on file before you can even be seen, the "intake" people are really rude, and you can't talk to any clinician even for a phone consult of any kind to determine if it would be a good fit first. Meanwhile, WITH insurance, the first visit is over $150! And that's your only shot of even seeing if it would work... They have a Byzantine intake process, if you do decide to go ahead with it...and then they just cut you off regardless of your financial and work options, asserting flatly that you should do something they don't provide, and even if that's not an option for you, too bad, they just won't treat you, anyway. Incredibly unprofessional bunch. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.

The Clinician I have seen is excellent, and I would recommend her, hands down, clinically (A+). I would agree, with the previous reviewer, that there are some issues that need be resolved in regard to contacting your therapist, billing concerns or contacting reception.

I was prompted to write this review after seeing the abysmal 2 star rating and felt it misrepresents the quality of service from this establishment. I recently moved to the Corvallis area and was referred here by my previous mental health provider. My experience has been excellent and I have been able to make effective and lasting changes to my life as a result of the care I have received. I have a condition that requires life-long treatment and Oregon Counseling has helped me develop effecting coping strategies to mange my psychological well-being.
The rating is unfairly skewed towards the negative as the result of faithcps's review.
If you were to look at faithcps's other reviews on Google, you can clearly see he/she/it brings the same level of criticism to various establishments as Simon Cowell did to American Idol contestants.
The frequent use of all-caps words, ellipses, and excessive punctuation in his/her reviews paints a picture of an angry pensioner who still cannot grasp the fundamentals of basic human interaction.
If faithcps describes the fairly simple intake process as Byzantine, I can only imagine the stress inducing horror he/she must feel as tax season rolls around.
Faithcps should carry around a bowl of salsa in pubic in order to compliment the enormous chip on his/her shoulder.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a World Star video out there of faithcps screaming at a Starbucks barista about his/her order and then going on a subsequent rant about aliens or how the government is poisoning us with fluoride.
It seems to only consistent factor in faithcps's negative experiences is his/herself.
This is just another heartbreaking case of a troubled individual who desperately needs professional help, but their own psychotic tendencies are preventing them from utilizing the very services they need.
If you are having doubts or apprehension about seeking mental health services, pick up the phone and make an appointment. It's never too late to start working on a better version of you.
