Had a variety of oysters sizes from their different locations. Oysters on the half shell available in house to try out what you are buying before purchasing. Just a quick skip from Newport.

rustic hole-in-the-wall, a bit dirty, with nothing really nearby. On the positive side, they will serve you fresh shocked oysters. on the negative side, no place to eat them on site.

BEWARE. If they offer you a sample or any samples, they are keeping a tab on each one. They will say, "here you go, try one of these." THEY ARE NOT SAMPLES. This tactic is used to bump up their total sale and is an unscrupulous business practice. They should say, "would you like to purchase one or two to sample?" We left feeling lied to and baffled. That being said, they do have a nice selection of farm raised oysters.

The oysters are delicious. Buy fresh or have them shipped. Friendly and helpful staff.
