I did the math! And I had more than enough money to pay my bills and everything! But because at the time my stuff was not 100% in my account I was dinged another -$30 I DONT HAVE!! I had the money it was in the account!! But becasue there were 2 pending transactions that made it less than what was there for LESS THAT 24/hrs. They wont didnt me my money back, at the time. Edit 1/6 - I was able to reach their Branch Manager, Nicole, who was/is an amazing asset to their team, if it had not been for her understanding my frustration and concerns despite my escalating attitude I would be still considering changing banks. I have to say she is really the ONLY reason why i stayed. Will in the future only talk to her. More people should be trained in the patience and customer service way she handled the call. Made a real difference in my day! Update: 3/11/22 — I HAVE MOVED BANKS! As much as Ms. Jones has gone out of her way to help me with my experience with her team here, it unfortunately was to no avail. The lack of communication through the physical banks and their out-source office is appalling. I can ask a single question and get so many different answers depending on who im asking. Also, i made a mistake of not waiting till i got all my taxes back to switch banks signed up for direct deposit and cant change it I genuinely forgot until i had already basically finished the process ‍ Nonetheless when i called to close just my savings account to keep the checking open till that clears, they tell me i cannot close the savings account and have to bring them $5 to put into a savings account i will NEVER use again?? A person should be able to choose if they want to close a single account ! Something that just pisses me off to high heaven about phone workersespecially OSCU- You’re an ADULT! You curse and have been cursed at, I understand not wanting to be harassed, but you say a single word, and then call them out for you saying it cause you’re an adult, even if you apologize and don’t say any more bad words, if you stay escalated with them, they continue to escalate the situation until they hang up, WHICH MAKE ME MORE MAD!! Train your employees to understand the difference between being personally attacked with words verses being confronted with them because someone if rightfully upset!! For anyone wondering i transferred to OnPoint Credit Union, nice people, they are honest with you, and i feel confident i will have a better experience there than i ever have in the years I’ve banked with OSCU.
If you want good old fashion customer service with a friendly smile this isn’t your bank. Just called the Keizer branch for a payoff on our truck two different times my husband called once a month or so ago and both times were scolded. I was on speakerphone with my husband trying to give info she was asking for year of truck, day & amount of payment and she actually yelled at me to get him off speaker even though we are both on the loan for the truck. She told me we didn’t have the information needed to access our own account Even though I verified my Social Security number and date of birth and the right year and make my vehicle. We were trying to buy a truck but I guess getting a payoff isn’t going happen. I am happy security is important but be nice people. Her tone of voice was very condescending. If she needed more information she could’ve politely told me to get it and call back. She was very rude. We will not get a vehicle loan there and certainly not bank there the future.
Oregon state credit Union is an okay bank, far as transactions it's good. I have asked to open up a Roth account, They said will contact me and set up an appointment and never show up or call. Customer service is horrible, I wear a hat all the time never leave without it. They ask you to remove your hat and they seem very annoyed by it. It's very uncomfortable, Especially this one lady in particular. She will walk across the Room, if front of everybody to tell you to take off your hat. They don't care if you're a veteran or not. It's Ridiculous no others banks treat customers like this. You don't feel invited or welcomed, It seemed OK when I signed up.I've only been a member of this bank for about 2 months now. And I'm consider going to another bank. Some of the ladies are nice that's why I'm giving it a 2 star instead of a 1 star. This experience is definitely at the Kaiser branch.
my husband and I went in the other day to payoff our auto loan and the buyer of our truck was with us to sign some paperwork we were the first ones there when they opened and while we were there the lady working behind the teller desk rudely told my husband to take off his hat and then when we were signing paperwork with our buyer she told us that my husband needed to go outside and only the buyer and seller inside and there was a limit of people we were confused because both my husband and I were the sellers plus there was nobody else inside just 3 of us not including the people working at the branch. my husband and I had to take turns coming in and out of the branch to sign paperwork with our buyer to pay off our loan. The whole time the teller bank lady seemed like she was not happy working there like she hates her job.
They helped me build my credit from scratch and took care of me in a number of other ways. My first car loan was with them, my first motorcycle loan was with them, my first credit card was with them. My first foray into financial independence and going from no credit to a 770 was with them. I have only good things to say about this place and the people who work here. I've been with other good credit unions, but they still aren't as good as this one.
They clearly are not interested in shared banking. I used this branch for YEARS as shared banking to deposit into my credit union way across town. Suddenly, they won't do shared banking on weekends, the easiest time for me to get there due to my work hours. Now they ask me for my last 4 digits of my social security on top of my driver's license when they never used to do that. I don't give out my ssn and shouldn't unless it's tax business and they stubbornly stick with their rules, when I already provided legal identification. I walked out. I only wanted to make a deposit! Sheeesh! My ssn card issued in 1972 says "for tax purposes, not for identification".
Had this credit union for a few years. It was a nightmare to get an international check into my account. They told me over twelve weeks to see the funds. I am not happy with their service anymore for many reasons. I am closing my account asap. Tellers will give you inaccurate information and you will be left to deal with the consequences. To be fair some of the tellers are very nice.
I been with this credit union for a while now, never had an issue, we just recently open a business account with them and we really want to thank Joanna Morrow for all her help with our business accounts for my Mom, my sister and I, Thank you so much for all your help and patience.
Easy setup of new account and great service!
I have been a member for years. Never had any problems with ANY staff helping me until i went in there with my work hat on. JOHN was so rude and refused to help me until i took my hat off. Waited till i got up to the counter took my member number and told me "take your hat off or go to the drive thru." The guy in front of me had a hat on did he get asked to remove his hat......no!! This place is a joke. Send JOHN to a customer service class he clearly needs it.
