Oregon State Credit Union

I used to love this bank. Now you can't call your local branch and I got a call center person who was very unfriendly and not helpful. The bank is getting to big for good customer service.

THANK YOU! Thank you for financing me for a newer car from Mac Toyota. I'll be glad when you open up the branch office here in McMinnville. And when you do, I'll be dumping Onpoint on opening day.

I’ve been with OSCU for almost 10 years. Their service use to top notch but ever since they decided to rapidly expand everything has gone down hill. I wait an average of 30 mins to talk to a representative on the phone. Once you get a representative, they will verify you then pawn you off to another department where you get to wait another 10-20 minutes on hold (30+ minutes if it’s the fraud department) My personal favorite- if you are on hold long enough, your call gets routed to some call center in the middle of no where. The representatives who take the call, don’t work at OSCU!! They don’t have the authority to do or see much on your account. It’s literally a waste of time. Then you have to call back and go through the same process all over again... They don’t follow up with issues. If you call on the weekend, the after hours representatives WONT be able to resolve your issue. They tell you a week day representative will call back Within 1-2 business days, but they don’t. I keep hearing from management that they are working to resolve their customer service issues, yet it’s been over 1 year of absolutely terrible service. I fully plan on shopping for a new bank and closing my account with OSCU.

This credit union is our favorite place to bank. They are friendly and very helpful. I don't feel like I am "food for the financial piranhas" as I have felt at certain other financial establishments.

Telephone support absolutely terrible. In today's technology age, agent could not even help to get debit card pin reset. we got struck at store where we needed to use debit card and pin won't work. Called csr and she asked me to go to branch to get it fixed. Now how we are expected to leave store and go to branch at 845pm in night. Come next year and i am gonna move all funds to different bank.
