Been going here since I was a kid, my dad used to take me. They have the best deli & subs in Detroit. Homemade dressing on the subs aged in oak barrels, everything’s amazing! Kid-friendliness: Kids love these sandwiches too!

It's definitely one of the top three submarine sandwiches made in Southeast Michigan. The 14 Layer Italian sub was more than enough for me. They have 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18 Layers available.Food: 5/5

For over 75 years Gonella’s has been home to of one of the best sub sandwiches in metro Detroit. The sizes and meat selection is vast, great taste and great bargain. You really haven't had a true Italian sub until you try Gonellas.Food: 5/5

Get the feeling of a real Italian place go there for the best subs around hands-down worth every single penny!!!!!! And the party subs and party platters are the best bang for the buck!!!!!! Vegetarian options: Must call or go in to ask for what food is made that day it’s all fresh and goes fast. Parking: Tons on the streets and in the parking lot
