Orthocraft

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Herschel and his team. They repaired my son's orthotic brace in exchange in a reasonable time period. They saved me so much time. While I was waiting for the brace I saw other patients with full leg prosthetics. Who expressed how happy they were with the services. At the end of the day, I think the secret of this place is that they treat you like a person. I appreciate and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Orthocraft offers prosthetics and orthotic services. I am a client and participant of the service provider. My acquaintance extended from a referral from Midtown Manhattan to the health clinic in Brooklyn, New York. The care rendered is professional and caring in a timely manner. Staff is courteous in all aspects in reference to their profession. The process is extensive, but the finish outcome is nice. I am 49 years old and I respectfully recommend the service rendered to those in need of this type of particular service.

This is my first time trying them. I would rate them excellent becaue they provide excellent service. I had my fitting done at my house which is remarkable or else I had to take a day off and go for fitting separately. They took my casting after hours. The receptionist and the practioner who make braces or cast you for a custome brace are so professional and helpful. The good thing is they are empathtic with you because they understand the pain you are going through. I had some adjustements to my brace they were reall understanding and help me to a full extent. They have a never give up attitude. After a decade I found my go to place. Also, there were some issues with my insurance they worked with me in order to resolve that. Shout out to all the staff that work front and back!!!

I started a new journey in my life September 2020 when a car hit me on my motorcycle losing my right foot. While healing in the hospital I was visited by Jess from Orthocraft who gave me some information on what they do and what grasps my attention the most was she wasn't pushy or trying to make a sale but rather giving the information i needed. I instantly felt i should stop by and have them help me with my new lifes journey. I was so nervous and slightly embarrassed but the people i now consider family have been the best and are the best at making sure my prosthetic fits properly and fits my daily needs. Dez who definitely helped me get back to my normal life took his time and offered the proper options to get me walking again. This team is definitely a blessing to many.

My life changed five years ago and orthocraft made it possible for me to walk again. They have done every leg I’ve had so far, and on top of that I get to work with the owner Hersh. He is a cool knowledgeable guy, I am pleased with their work.

Was here first pre pandemic years ago. When they had there previous location they eventually moved about 18 to 21 blocks or so east to their current location which makes it a little Journey just to get there. I went to the current location as well years ago. I got my first custom orthotics for a foot issue primarily in the right foot for bad foot pain primarily top of the foot. I had stiffness there as well. I am flat footed. I eventually had short custom ankle/foot brace reccomended via one of the piodatrists dr James einhorn i used to see years ago for the right foot issue. Neither the ankle brace nor custom orthotics helped my right foot issue which i eventually gave up on. Fortunately This issue eventually resolved on its own in spite of piodatric treatment failing on its own to correct it. Of course I am not holding anything against involved in treating my issue including the orthocraft team in . . They did as much as they could.They can only provide a certain means but nothing less or more. Back to the point. During my time of coming to orthocraft. The staff including the front desk and top guy herschel have been helpful or were always ready to. Forgot to mention the people working closely with Hershel some of whom I was served by as well. Always willing to work with you including if you felt like your orthotics or brace or device needed adjustments to try to boost their effectiveness or just make them more comfortable. Again that/this was pre pandemic. I recently returned to try to get a richie brace for bad left ankle via referral from my piodatrist dr hose loor. Made to do an evaluation. Gavin and young lady at the front desk have done/are doing a great job of making feel welcome as a patient. Received a phone call from my case manager the other day whose name I forgot. Told my ankle brace was ready. Thrilled. It has been difficult to go to work without having it yet. Hope it helps. fingers crossed. It's my biggest hope to address my ankle issue. It feels depressing to carry on like this.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and my balance has begun to be terrible. I did some research and found a product that I wanted to try. The product is called Turbo Med Orthotics and I recommend anyone with MS to try it. I did a ton of research and the product lives up to its reputation. I am walking strongly without a cane again. I feel like I have my life back. Sam and Jenn were very easy to work with and I would recommend others to do business here. They made obtaining this product very easy for me.

Did not have a great experience. Very unprofessional. After evaluation, they took so long to contact my insurance. I had to keep following up. They also don't return phone calls. Would not return, they don't care about servicing people appropriately. They also do not return doctors phone calls either. Horrible!

The professional service provided by Jessie Thomas continues to be outstanding. I appreciate the knowledge, care, and attention to detail that she provides. I believe I have received the highest level of care from her for the fitting and proper use of my AFO leg brace from Orthocraft. I would recommend her services without hesitation.

My experience with Dez has always been pleasant. He really listens to me and what I say about my fit and does the best to accommodate me. My prosthetic life has greatly improved since dealing with him these last few years.
