We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Otaiko Hibachi & Sushi Lounge on Feb. 8th. The service here gets an A and the hibachi dinner with assorted appetizers, plus the delicious sangrias red & white get a BIG A+. Our hibachi chef was so nice and funny! He interacted with us all and kept us laughing! What a great guy! Our favorite place for Hibachi is OTAIKO in Bayonne! Vegetarian options: Lots of seafood choices. Parking: Parking available outside restaurant.

It’s always a great time when I come here. I always stay at the sushi bar and the guys are always amazing. The extra dishes they create especially for the diners are fantastic! This place is also great for hibachi.

Food was good, I ordered hibachi as most rolls were spicy, good atmosphere and excellent service. Dishes price ordered 28-30dls.Food: 4/5

Otaiko is a staple in Bayonne and has been a part of the community for years. The price per value is actually really good if your doing hibachi. The hibachi chefs are great at keeping the entertainment high. The hibachi has always been pretty good. Be careful if you get steak or lobster you might feel a bit robbed , however everything else seems well portioned. Can't complain, it's not perfect but it's also a bit better than average!

I only had sashimi and sushi. It was decent. The sashimi was fresh. Don't need to dip soy sauce if is fresh raw fish! The sushi was ok, nothing too special about it. I was planning to do hibachi but the waitstaff said it can't be serve alone, only order from menu. The waitstaff was friendly and professional.

I spotted this place looking for somewhere to eat lunch. It was very quiet this time of day and very uniquely decorated. I liked the ambiance of the place. The hostess at the front was very accommodating with my colleague having to take his food to go and me eating there. The server was informed and was very good about everything. I ordered vegetable hibachi and a to go order. The food came out rather quickly and was very good as well. The prices are very reasonable for lunch. I will be back.

Another hidden gem in Jersey that we stumbled upon when doing Costco Shopping ... good food, 10 on 10 ambience and very friendly and patient staff. Maggie deserves a special mention for being an amazing server and recommending really awesome stuff here.
