Otaku Hobbies

The place is completely not for me. Half the carpet are ripped up looks like a construction site, So basically is a second hand store that buys toys and comic books dealers and from others and resells them which is fine, However the knockoffs he gets from Japan are really bad. and he pawns them off as authentic when he get them in. I know this because I used to purchase alot of toys from wade and sell them at the flea market. I had alot of returns from collectors accusing me of selling bootlegs. When I confronted Wade (the owner) he was not surprised. I guess if your ok with knock offs toys from japan this place is for you.

I really enjoy this place and the merchandise they carry is very unique and high quality, however based on my experience the hours aren't always exactly as posted and that turns into a big deal when you drive an hour to get there!

Absolutely amazing! The owner is such an awesome person to chat with about collectibles, toys, comics, and other items being sold here. These items are from Japan and some other parts of the United States. Amazing place to just chill and look at some awesome otaku items.

It seemed like 90% of the merchandise being sold at the time I went was Marvel and DC stuff, Terminator, Predator/Alien, not anything anime/manga related. Kinda misleading. Maybe it’s just the merchandise they just got in, but I counted maybe 6 anime/manga related items. People in these reviews keep talking about the owner getting stuff for his Otaku store from China really confuses me... and after going in there, it makes me wonder if it’s authentic or Chinese knock offs of Japanese stuff (and DC, Marvel, Terminator, etc stuff, I guess). I might go by again on my way through just to see if I went during a really bad time, but I know I should probably just give it a pass.
