OU parking services as a whole has rude and disrespectful employees. Employees often get confrontational on the phone and in their office. They are unprofessional and most of the time don't even know what's going on. These people do not care about anything except for money and are quite possibly the worst people you ever want to deal with on campus. OU parking services's current employees should be reviewed and most of them should be fired for their lack of professionalism and conduct while at work.

Unlike all the FRESHMAN, I've only had great experiences. (Don't let Lily tell you wrong, she is a person that parks in the hashed areas and thinks the moving in placard is the parking placard.)(Yes, I ran into her while I returned a permit that got lost in the mail.)
Here is my personal story:
Order permit, 7-10 days the permit didn't arrive so I called them, they tell me to come in and they will replace it for free since I paid for it, permit comes in about 1 month and 10 days later. They were fast and a sweet about getting me my permit.
Your lack of planning and problem solving does NOT constitute an emergency on their part.

Top of Catlett parking garage is roped off today. An email would have been nice. Late to class. This is just generally a bad service.

Top of the elm street parking garage chained off after I parked there when there are no events or anything else going on.

I think the staff in the office are probably good people, as I've never had a bad experience with them. OU parking services as a whole though is the most unorganized, money gouging people on the campus, maybe even more so than the OU bookstore. Selling parking passes to way more students than there are parking spaces is ridiculous, especially when the spaces are for a dorm. Clearly all the spots are going to be used by the oversold passes and people who live there, pay money to be there and for a parking pass, have to find somewhere else, God knows where, to park. I've found myself parking in a neighborhood blocks from where I need to be because the parking lot I'm using just never has any spots even though I bought a pass specifically for the lot. It's ridiculous and I'm tired of it.
