Our Lady of Pompeii School

I myself attended our Lady of Pompeii school as a child and graduated in 1991. Now both my children have been attending the school for the past 7 years. We are blessed that they are able to have the same catholic school experience that I had. Pompeii is a family and my children love being apart of it!!

Our Lady of Pompeii School is located on Carmen and Bleeker Street in Greenwich Village on NYC. The School teaches to the 8th grade. It was the church that I attended for masses every now and then when I lived in Soho on King Street and 6th Avenue. Another grand old church in NYC to visit when visiting the city.

My son and daughter attend OLP and we have been very happy with the academics and culture. We have recommended the school to many families all of whom also love it. The location can't be beat if you live or work in downtown Manhattan or in Brooklyn, Hoboken or Jersey City.

I graduated from OLP in 1956. So glad it is still a strong neighborhood church. Fr. Albanese was pastor then. Long live OLP.

Beautiful West Village church that is open Christmas day to beckon parishioners of all stripes, regardless of color, caste, or creed.

I go to school there it s a very serious school but at the same time it will be very nice love it

It was cold outside. We passed by. The doors are open. We went with family. There was no one inside, but pleasant music was playing. We sat down. Enjoyed the peace. We rested and warmed up and moved on satisfied. Very beautiful and calm inside.
