This place is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and kind. They have a pretty area for indoor seating and they sell great cookies and if you buy two you get a $1 off which is good. They also sell cake slices, cupcakes, croissants, and some other things as well. I would highly recommend going here and trying their chocolate chip cookie it’s vegan but a cookie anyone will love.
Everything here is incredibly tasty. The shortbread, pistachio loaf and chocolate chip cookies were a favourite as they were so visually appealing, but also delicious! There is ample seating inside as well as a small table for outdoor seating. There is also a bathroom located at the back of the cafe.
Went in to check it out and because the online menu said they had a specific item. But when we went it was discontinued. I aster time walking over for something they no longer have or would have. The cashier was friendly enough but couldn’t get what we came for. The cakes looked nice and the store was clean inside. Might go back to try it again but they need to update their menus and be consistent.
Ovenly is one of the best and most consistently delicious bakeries. Simple ingredients, baked perfectly and so good. I fell in love with their blackout cake but quickly came to realize the cookies are the real star! Salty and sweet and perfectly chewy. The peanut butter cookie is my favorite. Best thing is they share their cookie recipes on their website to give home bakers a chance to bake their own. It’s awesome and generous.
The person working there was nice and the 2 for 1 special is nice. I was wondering what was wrong with these baked goods because they tasted dry and old. It turns out that they are vegan or gluten free. Though I'm not sure if that explains the old part though they claim to be fresh each day - so odd. They aren't terrible, but they aren't that great either. The shortbread was like sand and turned into sand, the peanut butter cookie was pretty good, but still not as good as a basic recipe and def not as good as a professional bakery, the cupcake was dry and stale but the frosting was pretty good, the croissant looked great but was also dry, the chocolate chip cookie was fine but I've had various supermarket ones that were better, the chocolate cookie tasted good but it's also dry. This just can't compete when it comes to quality and taste with many bakeries. I think they need to modify their recipes. I bake better than this while baked and using chopsticks and a toaster oven. My father makes way better stuff with no recipe and a small AF kitchen. I have to wonder how it's possible. The store is really cute though.
Try to grab cookies or pastries with your drink. Everything is so good and you always have room for dessert! Manager Dani is so sweet so does all the staffs :
Went there for a coffee before a Nets Game and we ended with some delicious cookies 2 for 1 offer. The place and the bathroom are very clean. The 2 girls working there are really nice, they even helped us and explained the best way to go back to Manhattan after the game.
Picked up a box of Blackout Cake 2 slices last night on my way home. Shared a piece with my spouse. IT. WAS. DELICIOUS. The frosting is out of this world! The cake is tasty and moist. Perfection!!!!
Ordered a 6 inch funfetti cake via Doordash and Ovenly replaced it with a pistachio cardamom cake. They didn't even call or let me know that the funfetti was out of stock, I discovered it when I opened the delivery. We have a nut allergy in our house! Not a severe one, but still. What a ridiculous substitution. Luckily Doordash refunded us. Update: when I went to dispose of the box, I saw that the back had tape and "BB 12/7" on it. Photo attached. Common sense suggests that this means best by 12/7, which was YESTERDAY. I bought the cake today, 12/8. While many people agree it is often fine to eat things after their best by date, I don't think you should be selling them at that point. Really felt like they pawned off an undesirable cake on me and hoped I wouldn't care. Awful experience.
Nice bakery and coffee shop space with beautiful modern touches and adequate seating. Plenty of baked goods to choose from morning to night, including croissants, muffins, tea breads, quiches, as well as their famous gluten free cookies. Layered cakes are also delightful! Enjoy a sweet treat or two over a cup of coffee. Bonus: Come towards the end of the day and enjoy discounted prices.
