Great place to catch a game. Lots of seating and the projectors are definitely a plus. Bartenders were friendly and Guinness was poured well. Not sure why the reviews are so low but definitely a place I’d visit again
Paddy O's is a classic Irish Pub with giant TVs, cold beers, and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for a downtown location and they have daily drink specials too. It's a great place to watch a game and relax with friends. Recommended if you are nearby!
Went for appetizers. They were so so. The outside seating is really nice however a bit to crowded to allow for appropriate distancing
We stopped in for lunch and had Colleen as our server / bartender. we all ordered hamburgers with four very delicious. They were large and the amount of french fries was more than adequate. I had a hamburger that was encased in 2 grilled cheese sandwiches proved very good and the prices were very reasonable. calling was a very good and friendly server. Definitely would come back here during another trip to Boston
Went with coworkers for some drinks. We’re from out of state, if that matters at all. Bouncer outside stated pints were 3 dollars for miller lite. Sign on the sidewalk said same thing. Went to grab this “3 dollar beer” and was told it didn’t actually exist with the real price being 9 dollars. That’s forgivable compared to the rest. My colleagues very real New Jersey ID was suspected by the bartender as “fake”. They seized it, and refused to return it. After the police were called, they cut the ID before police could arrive. They then denied this, and the ID was not presented to police which, correct me if I'm wrong, is knowingly destroying evidence. Seizing and destroying a real identity card is illegal, and at worst could prevent an individual from flying home. Egregious power trip behaviour from a bartender who clearly shouldn’t be in the business if they can’t read an ID. Won’t be back, I’d recommend passing on this one.
Great place, like the tardis; bigger on the inside! Food served until 9pm, closes at 2AM. Great atmosphere, great staff, beer selection good, from Lite beers to craft beers; on tap and cans. Live music is a plus. Watched the Red Sox game on multiple screens. Only downside was around 10PM a crowd of loud 'business types' ruined the vibe. Must be the 'go to' place!
This was my 2nd time visiting Paddy O’s the first time was ok, nothing to write a review about. However, on 7/8/19 my bf and I went in because they had $1 oysters and $.50 wings. We sat at the bar and the bartender took our order. While waiting for our order the bartender was sitting on the ice refrigerator with her legs up talking to two older gentleman. She got up to help another customer that walked in. When she was standing at the register, she sneezed twice in her left palm. Then continued to work, give the customer change from the register then rubbed her palms together and sat back on the refrigerator without washing her hands. We sat there watching her hoping somebody else would bring us our food order, thankfully two nice ladies brought us our orders. My bf then order a drink and she proceeded to make it with me watching her like a hawk. In the process the only thing her sneeze hands touch was the straw. We took the straw out and uses a different one. With that said I’ll not go back to this place because of her. PS: The oysters are really small and not very satisfying, you would need two to make one of the oysters am use to buying. We ordered bbq and buffalo wings and they were really good. The back of the bar opens up into a nice looking and bright area.
Rude staff + horrible music playing. Read the crowd! No one wants to dance to 70s music in 2022! Had to bounce after one drink.
Went here around 8PM Saturday 5/27 Memorial Day weekend. At the door the guy asked for ten dollars each to come in. Whatever we gave him 10$. When we went to the bar we were there for 20+ minutes. No menu or no attention. Finally the one male bartender came over after talking to his friends and asked us what we wanted. We asked what they had for bottles. He said- check online and here then get back to me when you are ready. We left right after.
The lobster roll was amazing, the taco was delicious, and the beer was nice and cold. Robin the manager was a fantastic guy! Highly recommend dropping in and eating all the delicious foods.
