Pagliacci Pizza

Great slice of pie on a quick stop in the small town on our way to the ferry. Reasonable and worth a wait for an appetizer and drinks as well.

Everytime I leave this restaurant I feel like the employees have done everything they can do, to interfere with my ability to eat their Pizza. Between taking my order and then forgetting to give it to me, giving me the wrong order, and almost every order I get taking twice as long as they said it would, I really wish I had other options in this neighborhood. "Oh, did you order four pieces of pizza? Let me stack them vertically so all of the cheese is stuck to the pizza above it or the paper that I put between them, that clearly isn't going to do anything then rip off the cheese from your bottom slices." This should not only be unacceptable, there's no excuse for being the default for outgoing slices. "oh, did you order pepperoni slices that are clearly right in front of us? I'm going to go wander around for 10 minutes and then tell you they're gone, once we've given them away to people who ordered after you. I'm now going to tell you it is going to be 10 minutes till a new pizza comes out, and it'll be 25. Oh shoot, we gave away that pizza also! But don't worry it'll only be 10 minutes till the next one. Oops, our bad!" This has happened to me on multiple occasions. The upside? The pizza is often really tasty, if you're willing to battle stupidity and poor planning to get it. And the employees are really friendly while they're ruining your lunch/dinner. Yaaay.

Pretty tasty pie. I like going for a slice or three at lunch.

Always reliable, great crust! My son likes the GF option too.
