I have been seeing Dr. Jayaram for a few years now and he has been great. He is no nonsense and has fought hard with my insurance company to get alternative procedures approved for me. The most recent they had been trying to deny for 16 months and he kept on them until they finally approved it. I would definitely recommend seeing him, he is the first doc I've had in awhile that actually listens to me instead of making assumptions like most doctors
I worked here a couple years ago and had a great experience. Staff is very kind a professional. They truly care about their patients. Sometimes there is high turnover because MA’s are often going to nursing school to further their careers, which is think is wonderful that they encourage. The patients I spoke to had very good experiences here and were always treated very fairly. The office does have rules as any pain clinic is required to and should have. Highly recommend.
My initial experience was a positive one. The physician assistant Nadine was the most helpful person in my pain condition. However I had some insurance limitations so procedures were sort of off the table. I went through a couple of medication switches and after about the third one I was suddenly told very abruptly that I can no longer be treated by them. They refused to taper me off of opioid pain medication that I've been on for over three years. This sort of mistreatment should be considered malpractice. Horrible horrible clinic.
My experience with Pain Management Consultant was as poor an experience I believe someone could ever have. I was required to have my personal care physician fax the referral 4 times and when Becky finally called me to let me know she got all 4 faxed referrals, she was too busy to schedule the initial appointment and called back 4 days later. The first appt went well, and I waited 10 days without a call back after leaving messages on day 8 & 9. I stopped by their Office on day 10 and could not get an update. I then called my medical provider Providence Health. They informed me that no decision had been made yet, they said it takes appx 48-72hrs and they received the request yesterdayday 9 since my initial appointment. My procedure was denied, when I received the explanation letter it stated the reason for denying was there was no evidence of sufficient damage to warrant the proposed procedure. That an MRI would show said damage, PMC did not send my MRI with their request for procedure. Due to my Employer switching to Moda Health at the end of November 2018, I gave PMC my new Health coverage Info in the middle of November. I received a call from PMC that Providence Health had approved my procedure on December 2nd. PMC called on December 10th to inform me that I no longer had Providence Health, I informed this personBecky again that I had gave new medical info 3-4 weeks ago and while still on the phone, "Oh yes, I see the medical info in your file now". The request thru Moda Health was denied, and when I received the denial letter the reason was due to PMC requesting approval for a minimum of 3 procedures. Moda Healthand other Health plans only approve 1 procedure at a time while evaluating each procedure prior to approving addl procedures. My personal care physician sent the referral in the middle of September 2018 and by January 8th 2019, PMC has called me 3 times, has not sent a single letter to me and still has not been able to do anything constructive towards any pain relief. I have had to continue with Opioid pain medication for far too long due to PMC inability or just not caring about me in any way, shape or form. During this time I have seen my personal care physician 3 times, I go to physical therapy 3-4 times a month and PMC appears to not care by their inaction they have displayed over almost 5 months. I highly recommend that anyone thinking of consulting Pain Management Consultant group to NOT use them. They honestly don't care at all, even when you contact them.
After being referred to Pain Management Consultants I went online and checked out their reviews. My first thought was, ‘I’m not going there!’. The problem was, nobody else could see me and do anything about my pain without my having to wait 5 weeks or more. So I went and I am glad I did. I got the best treatment and service from everybody there. It was the complete opposite of what all those other reviewers had led me to believe. So much so that after my second visit, I went back through my browser history just to make sure that I had checked out the right place. I had and I can’t figure out why they had such bad reviews prior to my visit. Based on my experience with them, I highly recommend Pain Management Consultants.
I was with Pain Management for 2+ years specifically with Dr. Jayaram and seemed to like the office staff. Although, I seemed to get a new staff member at every appointment. There seemed to be a huge turnover which tells me that the doctors don't now how to run a practice. Which brings me to this subject, I had done everything that the doctors asked, always made my appointments, passed UA's, paid my bills and did what was asked of me per the contract that I had signed. I met Becky on my first ablation procedure and fell in love. She was so helpful and professional. With that being said, after a year of going to the office I asked her out. We kept it very professional for a year. When she gave the doctors 6 weeks notice to leave the practice as we were moving I received a letter stating Dr. Jayaram could no longer be my doctor. I was shocked that I had done nothing wrong, hadn't violated my contract, and even had a surgery for a Spinal cord stimulator scheduled. The appointments were canceled and when I called to find out what was going on NO ONE could call me back. I did't realize I was dealing with a child. He realized I wasn't going to play ball so he took his ball home. It was very unprofessional! When you are dealing with a patients well being it is professional not personal. He took an oath to help people and provide medical service but yet his personal vendetta influenced his professionalism. Given the revolving door of employees and how he treated me as a patient speaks volumes on his character and how he treats his employees. Becky had been a dedicated employee for over 17 years and he couldn't even wish her well and thank her for all of her years of service. Think twice before making an appointment to be treated by this physician or his office. Apparently, I have to give one star just to post this review. I would give zero stars for the way I was treated.
Dr. Kaur really knows what she is doing. The staff treat me like family. My pain before being treated was a 8-10. If it wasn't for these doctors and staff I would lost hope along time ago
I actually like Dr Kaur, and have had good experiences with her, but the office staff and medical assistants are horrendous!! When I first started going there several years ago, the whole office was better, then something happened and the turnover has been crazy. When you call, they answer with "Pain Management, can you hold?" CLICK, you're on hold!! Just rude in my opinion. If you're going to immediately put someone on hold, you should say "please hold." Their prescription refill policy states that "your prescription will be ready on the third business day," but I've not had mine actually be ready on the third business day in probably a year. More than once it's been the fifth business day, and still not ready. I used to recommend this clinic, but not anymore!!
I’ve been a long time patient of this clinic and Dr. Kaur. I appreciate how they have helped me over the years not just in my pain management but with navigating the insurance/prescription issues. They are problem solvers on many avenues. Dr. Kaur is always pleasant and down to earth. Staff greets you every time with a friendly attitude.
I am a Disabled Veteran that has had the worst care from the VA. I finally got a Dr. outside of the VA, That Dr was Dr. Kaur. She took what was going on with my injuries and took them seriously. We came up with a solid plan towards my recovery. The whole staff has been wonderful. always going out of their way to make sure I am being taken care of.
