Our comprehensive approach to pain care is individualized, and we are committed to providing the most effective treatments and utilizing the latest technologies for each patient.

Dr. Tamer Elbaz is a board-certified interventional Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology specialist. Dr. Elbaz has extensive knowledge and experience performing interventional pain procedures for acute and chronic pain syndromes. He is particularly interested in treating difficult and complicated cases. He is constantly in pursuit of the newest techniques in treating difficult conditions.

Dr. Michael Ko completed his Pain Management fellowship at the premier Manhattan Center for Pain Management at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, specializing in minimally invasive interventional techniques to treat a wide spectrum of acute and chronic pain conditions.

Justin Boyd is a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Pain Physicians in June 2013. He received his Master in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Kentucky. Justin is an active member in American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

Wonderful practice! All Doctors at Pain Physicians NY are kind, patient motivated and skilled. I have pain resulting from a long career as a professional dancer and have been a patient here for many years. Dr. Elbaz,Dr. Ko and Dr. Kim are an amazing team. Lucky to have found them!
I have been a patient with Dr Elbaz , Dr Justin Boyd and Dr Ko since 2016 . I am now a patient of Dr. Kim , The Best Pain Management Doctors in NYC. With the most Professional and Pleasant staff.
2510 Westchester Ave... Pain management and fisical therapy. A good place to heal. Although it was much better when the chiropractor was there I don't remember his name, Asian man.
I just came to drop my cousins ro the office and the elevator was not working.....I called to asked why this was not notice to the patient and the girl on the phone was totally rude and unpolite.......why will you have people like this at you offices.......if a patient is looking for your services and can't walk up stairs the best thing is to call and let them know in advance ...now this is part of the people you put upfront to keep up with Info.....how rude she was
I've been a patient with Dr Elbaz since 2010. He's the best and most compassionate doctor I know. Since he's so busy I have been seeing Dr Kim and Dr Ko recently. Chronic low back pain is tough to treat and can get progressively worse as we age. I believe the care I get is spot on.
Wonderful place to get pain treatment. Dr Elbaz and Dr. Kim and Dr ko are all so pleasant, they make me feel comfortable and laid back when I'm there. The Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They communicate well and do what they can to make sure I'm getting the treatment I need. They do their part in contacting the insurance company and so forth which can be very troublesome in getting approvals. Again, wonderful place and amazing doctors and staff.
Dr Joseph Kim has not only taken over for my previous Doctor at this practice who was EXCEPTIONAL in his own right, but also Dr Kim has been very caring & extremely helpful with my present pain management needs. Pain Mngt is not a perfect field of medicine but the combo of Dr Elbaz, Dr Ko & Dr Kim should be able to help you get some answers & some relief!!!
Very professional organization, I have been A patient at this office since 2014. Excellent pain management doctors very professional and organize establishment. They do an excellent job when he comes to injection I would recommend them to anyone. They have also seen my grandmother here at this Office for her knees and treated her very well. She had seen mini pain management doctors four years by your treatments were not successful. This office was able to help her with her pain that she has in her knees. They were able to draw fluid from the knee which was causing her excruciating pain as she walked. Can’t explain how much I do appreciate these doctors here in this office.
The doctors here are gifted, kind and talented. I work exclusively with Dr ElBaz, who is nothing short of a miracle worker. He has really helped me survive debilitating, chronic pain and I cannot thank him enough. But there are serious staff and office issues that caused me to remove one star. They have retrained the one receptionist used to be very rude- and I noticed and really appreciate it. Most staff are lovely. But the office definitely needs to be better organized! I don’t think I’ve ever waited for less than an hour to be seen. Often longer. That’s really something that needs to be fixed! But it’s - for me - it’s worth the wait. They’re that good. But it would be awesome if you could better organize!
I’ve been seeing Dr Elbaz for 11 years now. He is the best!! I don’t know what I would’ve done without his services. His concerns for your well been & making sure your pain is at minimum level is top priority!! Thank you for being the GREAT PHYSICIAN THAT YOU ARE!! Justin also brings a GREAT decorum & professionalism to the office. Last and not least, the ladies at the front desk are professional and dedicated, as well as the medical assistant staff who are always caring & supportive.
