Maybe the best Italian bakery in Brooklyn. Certainly the absolute finest on Ave N! If you want a bland sugar-bomb, go to those other places. But if you want the best cakes, cookies, pastries and special treats, Palermo's the place for you. And they have the most authentic and tasty spritzel's you'll find anywhere in multiple varieties.

Excellent food and customer service! Luisa, who is one of the female employees at Palermo, does a wonderful job assisting me with my order. She is also very patient, kind, and reliable! Highly recommend to anyone who wants pastries, this is the place to go to!!!!

The best bakery in the world, hands down. Now, I haven't been all over the world, but I'm still confident in saying that. Or maybe it's just because I'm fat and their stuff is delicious. Whatever, the place rocks and is what I compare every other bakery to. Get a spritzel with custard filling, some rainbow cookies, a black and white, and a half gallon of milk, take your shirt off and bamm, you got yourself a party.

I love their cookies and their cake, I have been going here for years, they are great. My favorite is the double chocolate cookie and the kids character cookie and my favorite cake combination is the chocolate cake with the chocolate french cream, strawberry preserves, and smooth chocolate icing on the outside. The young ladies at the front counter are pleasant and helpful.
